Actsoftware.net — Windows 11

Website:actsoftware.net

I Purchased a windows 11 software from this company which offered a full refund / replacement and a 100% satisfaction guaranteed on their return policy. However, the product did not work on my system and I requested a replacement to a windows 10

At this time the customer representative demanded a 30% restocking fees, which was not mentioned in their return policy statement. When asked about this they effectively said, it is not mentioned on the website but is their discretion to charge whatever they feel like.

The company intentionally misled me with their return statements and committed a breach of agreed contract during sale. I will provide detailed review of their return policy as well as the emails we exchanged

"We provide a complete money-back guarantee for all purchases made on our site. If you’re unsatisfied with the product which you have bought from us, you can get your money back, no questions asked. You’re eligible for a complete reimbursement within seven calendar days of your purchase. For software products, we don’t offer refunds. We only do replacements or supply store credits for non-working licenses. "

My Request:
According to the above statement, please offer me a replacement. This is a fully working license as provided to me during sale, I have not used it. If you show me where in this statement you mention a 30% re-stocking fees, I will be happy to pay it. Otherwise please offer me a simple exchange with a working Windows 10.

The Response from Seller:
We provide replacements for non-working licenses whereas for working licenses we only do store credits with a 30% fee. This is not mentioned and is done as per our discretion.

You've been sent what you purchased. It is a fully working product. You just want to get it changed because you did not do your homework and did not check if it was compatible. Buying a product without confirming if it would work for your use case and then asking for a refund/replacement when it does not work for you does not come under any good ethics. You can state the same with your card issuer for the dispute.

You can chose not to pay for any restocking and keep the license.
