My complaint #[protected] and #[protected] were closed without being solved and i didn't even receive a call. This happened multiple times. I emailed their nodal office and they said my complaint wasn't related to the serial number posted.
I had applied for a new xstream ftth connection. The concerned person came home and billed me ₹1000. I don't know why i was billed when i was told the router and installation was free.
The person told me it was the first bill payment including gst based on the plan i chose (Rs 799 per month). I told him it's a postpaid connection so why should i pay beforehand. He said i must may if i want the service.
I received a bill today for ₹728 and it says payment of rs 1000 and - rs1000 for extras this month. I was also charged 18% gst on this amount which is ridiculous. Bill is attached.
I deserve an explanation for this. Why am i being charged for installation when it is free? Airtel clearly advertises free router and installation and yet charge ₹1000 but don't mention why.
Am i just supposed to bend over because they refuse to connect me to their customer support? This problem/issue was raised on 7th march and now i'm supposed to believe the covid19 excuse.
The bill is due tomorrow.
