I use Airtel broadband with the plan of 499Rs for speed of 40Mbps/month.
The internet has been very slow, around 1 Mbps from past week and calling customer care is of no help.
We called 2 days back and the woman said there's construction going on which is causing the issue, yet it gets fixed the second they cut the call and then next few hours later the issue comes back. Its common sense that if there is physical issue it needs to be fixed physically. This means she lied and just wanted to get over the call. We told them to send technician and the guy just called and said he fixed without even checking it.
Today on 28Jan we called again and the guy said they see the speed of 46Mbps being sent from there means there is an area issue and they will fix it asap. We called our family friend, they live in the next apartment and they said their speed is fine.
We called the customer care again. Another guy picked and said that there has been an issue going on and that it will be fixed by evening 4 pm. And he refused to register a complaint.
EVERYTIME WE CALL THE CUSTOMER CARE, THEY CHANGE THE REASON FOR SUCH POOR QUALITY.
Is this a scheme for us to get higher value pack? Is this how Airtel scams people now? By giving poor service yet the billing is always on time.
