Airtel — cc fooling and technician cheating for view card problem

Reported the issue on 8th july stating that 'view card problem'. Its was prompting that the 'view card was not inserted properly. Please swipe and reinsert the view card'. Hence called the cc and informed about the issue and got a reference no as 62898369 for the issue. The technician visited and unplugged the view card and power cable and realigned and he charged 150rs and it was working when he left. On the same day night the problem again reflected.

After repeated call to the technician he visited again after 2 weeks and said that the lnb[censored]nit has to be replaced to restore the connection and it will cost 310rs (Lnbf-160 and service charge 150). I agreed and he replaced the lnbf. After replacing the lnbf he said that the stb is also dead and that too needs to be changed which would cost 600 for a hd stb.

I was not ok with the resolution he said because after replacing the lnbf also it was prompting that the 'view card was not inserted properly. Please swipe and reinsert the view card'. So i said i cant pay for the service as the technician was not technically strong to provided the resolution for the issue. So he uninstalled the new lnbf that he fitted and said that the old lnbf got broken while uninstalling and left the cable grounded without connecting to the dish.

Again called the cc and following from 27th july for the issue. And complaints are been raised daily (Ref no. 63601476, 63659163, 63669630,[protected]. Daily new new complaints. And no proper following. Cc says that no need to pay service charge for each visit of the same complaint. The technician says i wont take the issue until i agree for the 150rs service charge.

After hanging between the cc and technician for the 5 days, finally the cc team agreed to send a different technician and no need to pay service charge and i have to pay 160rs for the lnbf replacement. Even thought the lnbf was intentionally broken by the technician and i agreed to pay for the replacement as i need the connection to be active. The big mistake i did is, i recharged it for a 1 year pack and i have 6 months more to get the subscription completed.

The technician came yesterday[protected] and replaced the lnbf, and restored the connection and collected 200rs stating that the lnbf cost 180rs and 20rs for some screw replacement. My aged parents was not able to understand and argue for the cost split up and paid the requested amount.

In-spite of paying extra for the lnbf replacement, the technician has placed some old lnb[censored]nit and not even fixed it properly with the the disk. It wont even with stand for one shower. I need to know weather the lnbf replacement will be a new one or some used one for the 200rs. The technician is fooling me or the airtel dth service is that's it.

Have attached the images of the replaced lnb[censored]nit. Can clearly see that the unit has color faded because of being exposed to sunlight. And i got sms from the cc team stating that all the complaints have been fixed and closed.

So i need a clear info on whats going on between the cc and field technician. And this is how the replacement will be done. Still i am not able to get the connection. Need to resolution at the earliest.
