Dear Customer Service,
I had registered online for getting an Airtel Broadband connection at my
residence on Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore. I received a call from your customer
service representative named Mr. Shivakumar with mobile number [protected],
confirming the availability of connection in the area. Somebody came &
collected the documents from my residence on May 3, 2014 morning & I was
advised that connection will be established at my place by May 4, 2014 end of
the day. I was also advised that since only 2 MBPS connections are available,
which do not come with a free modem / router, I should arrange one for my self.
Based on your executives commitment, I purchased a router & waited for the
connection to be established. Nobody turned up at my location on Sunday, May 4,
2014. I was told that there is some problem generating a work order & hence the
connection will be done positively on Monday. Monday onwards, this person
stopped responding to the phone calls. I sent him multiple SMS, to which I
received no response. A copy of these messages is enclosed herewith for your
reference. I called this person from different numbers, where he committed that
connection will still be done in a days time.
I contacted your customer service at [protected], where they first mentioned on
May 5, that the connection will be done by May 7, 2014. On May 7, 2014 when I
called they mentioned that there is some issue with the cable & the connection
will be done by May 9, 2014. On May 9, 2014 when I called I was given a
complaint number: 45814236 with a turnaround time of 24 hours & the connection
will be made.
Today, on May 11, 2014 when I called the customer service & gave them the
complaint number, they bluntly told me that the connection is not possible at
my location.
I don't want this connection any more and anytime in future.
Please make sure that the documents collected are sent back to my residential
address, clearly stating the reason for denial of connection.The router I
purchased based on your commitments, should be reimbursed to me in total.
Failing which, I will register a complaint against Airtel for cheating, metal
harassment & making false commitments & other applicable clauses.

I will also post this entire conversation on the online media, for people to be informed about (customer friendly) practices followed by AirTel.

as discussed over the telephone, it has been more than a month of harassment & false commitments made by you & your people about providing connection at my location.
With your own mail dated May 20, 2014 you made a commitment to resolve the concern & provide the connection in 10 working days. Hope you remember your words on the telephonic conversation on the same day or need a recording of the same to prove it.
If you & your company don't reimburse the cost of the router that was purchased based on your sales executives commitment & reimburse adequately for providing false information, harassment & calling your customer service on multiple instances along with all the inconvenience that has happened due to your inability to provide the connection in a stimulated timeline. I will register a case against your organisation, alongside post a copy of this entire communication on all available public forums for people to be aware about such fraudulent & unethical organisation Air tel is.
Kindly Reimburse me Rs.1700 towards the cost of the wireless router purchased on your sales executive commitment & Rs.20, 000 towards the inconvenience & harassment that has been caused due to your false commitments & inability to provide the connection.
