I raised a complaint with the airtel customer care team about inaccurate international roaming charges for mobile data. I had turned off mobile data and roaming options on my phone throughout the duration of my international trip. However, in the airtel bill's itemized statement, i see that they have charged me a huge amount for the billing period when my mobile data was switched off.
On speaking to the customer care team member, i was bluntly told by them that i have used the mobile data during the said period, so i have been charged for it. They were not willing to listen and dispute this claim.
I am quite shocked that a service provider like airtel would be so unreasonable to the genuine concerns of an old customer like myself, who has always paid my bills on time.
I hope the team would investigate the matter more clearly instead of simply dismissing my complaint to show a speedy resolution. Was this information helpful? |
