I had applied for mnp on my phone no. From airtel maharashtra (Prepaid) circle to airtel ncr (Postpaid) circle. It is so strange that even within the same company transfer could be such a hassle and that too from prepaid to postpaid.
The 1st porting request was given on 13th of may, 2017 in the presence of one of your agents mr. Vikas, ph: [protected]. He charged us rs 200 for the new sim card and informed us about the process. Tele-verification was successfully completed and we received sms regarding the same. The call that has to be made with the new sim to the number 59059 to complete the process was also made. The call dropped mid way as the network was lost. We made several complaints on customer care and they couldn't even tell us where was the delay or what was the current status of the request. After a month of follow ups from our side customer care asked us to file a new mnp request.
The 2nd porting request was given on 14th june, 2017 at the airtel store hong kong market, sector - 56 gurgaon in the presence of your employee mr. Nitin, ph: [protected] who charged us another rs 250 for the second sim. He assured us that number would be ported within a week and the previous rs 200 would be refunded in 2 days. Got a call from airtel guy (His number is [protected]) about a month back and he ensured that number will be ported but after that nothing happened. Again when i called him up on august 2, 2017 then he ensured me that number will be ported in next 72 hours but i am still struggling to get my number ported and airtel employees are not picking up my calls.
