I raised a request for safe custody of my Airtel broadband account for 3 months. Once the safe custody time period was over, my account was disconnected without even informing me.
I got to know about the disconnection when I was looking for the ARP bill and found that the broadband details have been removed from the Airtel app.
Think logically if any customer would pay for safe custody charges, just to get the account disconnected?
However, once the account was disconnected, my remaining amount should have been refunded, which wasn't done and Airtel is stalling like a pro 'dukandaar'.
My only requirement as of now would be to calculate the remaining amount correctly and refund it along with the bill/details.
Breakup -
12 month ARP amount =[protected] to[protected]
Safe Custody Activated = 02-08-21
Safe custody charges = 590
Internet Charges from 17/01/21 to 02/08/21 = 6.5 months *[protected]/12) = 6513
Safe custody charges = 590
Total chargeable amount = 6513 + 590 = 7103
Refund Amount =[protected] = Rs. 4921
Its been 4 months since the disconnection and 3 months since I am regularly sending mails and making calls, but Airtel is so thick headed that they cannot do this simple math and make the payment. Kindly get the details validated and make the payment without further delay.
