Hence I'm raising a new complaint since the old one is not getting attention from Airtel.
The link mentioned above quotes the following :
"Hello,
I have been an airtel customer for quite a lot of years. But recently i shifted to another service provider.
Soon after submitting the 'porting' request, i got number of calls from airtel customer care, where i was literally interrogated (Seriously grilled with harsh questions and even more harsh tone of voice) by the representatives. After finally telling them all the time they called they ported my number.
But after porting, i found out that none of the airtel mobile numbers are able to call me. I ask my friends and relatives who had airtel mobile number, to give me a call, but it always said that "this number is not valid" (Yeh number vaidh nai hai).
I called up my new service provider to solve this, but they said that this is not in their hands and i need to contact airtel for this.
What i really want is the following :
(1) clear the blockage by airtel. Let all airtel numbers be able to call on my mobile.
(2) an apology in written (Email) by the airtel management for the insult by the representatives.
(3) a compensation for the trouble caused."
