I raised a complaint for the water filter (purchased on 2022) saying there is a RED light glowing due to which I stopped using the water filter until fixed. I got the above ticket number.
A service person came and dismantled the main box and said one of the filter is gone needs replacement. He asked if I have AMC and i said NO ( as i had called multiple times during end of 2022 and no one showed up, also came to know that there was a ticket raised and closed WITHOUT even visiting the place.) so I did not opt for AMC.
He said still changed the filter and said if someone ask tell the indicator is because of something else. after fixing i asked for BILL and he said he changed the filter personally and charged 2500/- . I AM SURE THAT THE FILTER THAT WAS CHANGED IS NEW. I got TEXT message from AOSmith for 495/- only.
Next day : WATER STARTED LEAKING, I called the same service person saying water is leaking. he came and opened the MAIN water filter BOX and said motor connector is gone. He went out to buy a white tape. While tightening the connector with CUTTINPLAYER it BROKE, then he took screw driver and took all the broken pieces out from the moter.
Later he took a OLD connector from his bag and started screwing. I ASKED HIM IS THIS NEW MULTIPLE TIMES and he said YES, and then once done he left.
Do the service person who is coming to fix think we are un-educated and do know know what's going on...!!!
Is this how AO Smith does the service ? Had been known this earlier I WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED the product. Was this information helpful? |
