I bought Tata Swach Lavita water purifier on Dec 19 2012 from big bazaar, bill # 00018131. Initially the product worked well for few days, then the speed of water flow from the top container to bottom reduced. And eventually stopped.
We called up the toll free number and they explained the procedure to remove the trapped air. When we were not able to solve the problem even after following the procedure, they advised us that the bulb needs to be replaced and I will have to buy a new one. When I refused to pay for a new one, they said they will send an engineer to check the current situation. The engineer, visited within 48 hours (as promised by the call center representative), and he followed the same process of removing the trapped air; he banged the upper container really hard to remove the trapped air and informed us that we have to do the same. The issue was resolved, for the time being.
But again after 10 more days, the issue recurred!!. And now I am frustrated with this problem.
It takes more than 1 entire day for the bottom container to fill at 1/2 level. We have started using boiled water instead.
I made numerous complaints but they are not even responding. Was this information helpful? |
