Greetings!
I submitted an application for a name change for an electricity meter account in the first week of April. All the due process (document submission, verification, approval, fee payment, etc.) of the application was completed. I was informed that the next bill onwards will have the updated name.
Even on the online portal, the application status is marked as closed as on 12th April.
However, I still see the old name on the bill till today.
After waiting for the next billing cycle, I raised this issue with BESCOM helpline and they forwarded the complaint to the concerned department. There was no acknowledgement or update from the concerned department. Again, after few days, I followed up with the helpline and the same process of forward and no acknowledgement. This cycle continued and there is no action taken on the complaint yet.
I even followed up by visiting the BESCOM HSR office. They don't explain the issue, reason for the delay and the estimated time of resolution. It's been close to 4 months since I've applied.
I don't know what next to do.
