We purchased a bed from Home Town Nashik on Jan 27, 2018, with delivery address as Mumbai. We got the delivery of the bed one week late, i.e. on Feb 18. That too with 3 defective parts.
The person that came for assembling the bed raised a complaint for the replacement of the parts, and we were told it would take 7 working days to get the parts replaced. After multiple follow ups with customer care, I was informed today that the defective parts of the bed can not be replaced as there is no stock available. And they advised me to again visit home town and select a different bed and cost would be adjusted from that.
This is ridiculous because I had purchased the bed on Jan 27 only because there was huge discount (republic day sale) and now if i select alternate bed, I would be in huge loss as there wont be similar discount.
This kind of service was definitely not expected from Future group company and i would like to know if instead of selecting alternate bed, can Home town take back the defective bed and refund back my money. Was this information helpful? |
