Dear sir, i went to big bazaar, gold souk grande, ponnurunni, vytilla post, cochin 682019 and requested the salesman to give me ponni boiled rice 5kg 2 packs. Since there were no 5 kg packs and no loose rice available in the store, the salesman offered me a 10kg bag rice and offered to divide it into two for ease of carrying. I readily agreed and brought it home. On reaching home i discovered that it was not boiled rice and he had packed raw rice instead. So i immediately took it back within half hour and asked him for replacement showing him that he had given me raw rice instead of boiled rice as written on the bag. They however flatly refused and insisted that it was boiled rice and could be eaten.
As we do not use raw rice at home i left the packets with them without any refund. The bill (Retail inv no: 0193223 tr : 22247 dated 4/10/[protected]@ 17.59hrs) given is for ponni premium, and not for ponni raw rice.
I am not writing this to get the refund or the rice back, but i definitely want to bring the hardships of regular customers like us to your notice regarding the thoughtless behaviour of your staff/ supervisor, who could have easily solved the issue. Was this information helpful? |
