On 20th Oct 2012, I was trying to book 2 tickets for the movie “Student of the year” from the site www.cinemax.com. Rs. 416.18 was deducted from my Citbank credit card with no [protected]. However, booking was not successful as it had gone to error page "https://www.cinemax.co.in/ErrorPage.aspx".
I tried calling their helpline but no body picked and so I dropped an email to their email help desk ([protected]@cinemax.co.in) and visited Cinemax Box office at Soul space Arena Mall, Mahadevapura, Marathahalli ring road, Bangalore.
At the box office, they told that the booking was not successful and asked me to drop an email to their email helpdesk for the refund. And also issued me a new ticket for Rs. 400.
After reaching home, I checked my email and got the response from their email helpdesk saying that my booking was successful. Now I had two tickets for the same movie and hence I visited the Box office for cancelling one of the tickets. But they didn’t help saying that they cannot cancel booked tickets.
So I am approaching this forum to help me on this.
