Comedk — Refund of fees

I am Mann Chheda. I applied for the admissions via COMEDK exams this year and went up to the third round. I am a student of the EWS category. We were asked to pay an amount of Rs. 2, 21, 960 after the allotment of seat in 1st round which was not refundable after the third round. Now, in our country we have multiple counseling organizations for engineering and each and everyone has their own schedule due to COVID-19. There is no centralized counseling system for all institutes. Due to this I had to wait for the third round of COMEDK along with the MHT-CET CAP rounds. Rs. 2, 21, 960 is definitely not a small amount for my parents and I am unable to get a refund from the COMEDK. I request all of you to please consider the situation of many students like me and refund the amount even if you deduct some amount from that as processing fees. Please consider this earnest request seriously as it takes a lot of time and effort for our parents to save such a huge amount of money and due to the COVID-19 my family income has also been affected. Other state level counseling institutions like MHT-CET CAP and several private counseling institutions like LNMIIT do give a refund after the last rounds. Why does the COMEDK institution have to take our money like this when the institutions which give admissions via COMEDK like RV College of Engineering have management quotas too so their seats won't remain empty. Please be considerate of students like us. In my case, the amount of Rs. 2, 21, 960 is enough to complete my graduation in ICT, Mumbai. COMEDK is even conducting a fourth round to fill its seats and there is no need to ransack us. I hope you will give this a sincere thought and help out students like me
