Hello Sir,
This is regarding account number 16003196. I have a landline number
([protected]) and a broadband connection ([protected]_kk) under this
account. The broadband account is under 'Freedom 1399' plan with 4
mbps speed up to Fair Usage Share of 25 GB and 256kbps unlimited after
that. In the past 11 months of having this connection, the limit has
never been exceeded. On 17/07/2011 morning I got an email and SMS
informing that I have crossed 80% of the fair usage share. But Airtel
was doing upgradation I couldn't check the details. On 20/07/2011 I
got an email and SMS saying that I have reached 100% of my usage and
that my speed will be reset to 256kbps till the next billing cycle. I
couldn't check the details due to the same upgradation issue.
But today (22/07/2011), I logged into the Airtel portal and checked my
unbilled usage and found it to be 11.91 GB from the beginning of this
month cycle (05/07/2011) to (21/07/2011). The screenshot of the same
is attached.
This proves that usage alerts sent to me were wrong and I request that
the connection speed be reset to 4 mbps immediately as the FUS has not
been crossed. I have been facing the trouble o[censored]sing a 256kbps
connection for the past 3 days though I paid for 4 mbps till 25 GB
which as per your records I have not crossed this month or crossed any
month. I have raised a complaint with id 114280. I request you to take
immediate action to restore my connection to 4 mbps speed and spare me
from the misery of 256kbps that I have been going through for the past
3 days.
