[Resolved]  Airtel Connection — Not giving approval for portability from Airtel to Idea

We are holding AIRTEL connection since the beginning of the AIRTEL service. But as it was declared in our country, that we can take portability from our existing connection to other Service provider. Therefore, we applied with IDEA to get our AIRTEL connection to be portable with IDEA in the Month of January 2011. But now, it is almost 5 months is going to be over, our portable with IDEA is still not activated, because AIRTEL service provider is refusing the approval every time by saying that we have a contract with AIRTEL, hence, we cannot do the portability to any other service provider. As per our knowledge there is no contract has been signed by us with AIRTEL at the time of taking connection with them. And also they are reasoning that the Unique Code is mismatch, so they cannot approve for the portability. This is to request you, that kindly give instruction to AIRTEL, that please allow us to get the portability from AIRTEL to IDEA. And please tell them to don't delay unnecessarily, as they have no rights to stop us to get the portability to other service provider. I came to know that if I complained this problem to consumer forum, then I will get the solution immediately, because consumer forum will answer us immediately.
