[Resolved]  Airtel, Delhi, India — Worst customer care service

On my number ([protected]), VAS PACK activated wothout taking permission from me and Rs 50 deducted for same. I called customer number care number of times. But stupid customer care not answer the activation reason. Somtimes there system is down , somtime their software is down. My experience is that "No response from the customer care and harassing the customer".

Airtel India — Worst customer care services

I wanted to change to Prepaid to Post paid. (Existing no. [protected], Existing!!!!!??
Bad luckly Airtel teleexecutive Mr. UDAY ([protected]) called me & itroduced a new offer. I accepted the offer on 1st Oct & filled the form for new sim with deposit of 500 (Total 600). The verification was done on 4TH. My existing sim with life time validity was blocked from Airtel in view of new sim.
The tete-executive called asked me on 4th to come to Bandra station (Mumbai) to collect my NEW sim, but when i reached there & called the given no. by him ([protected] - Rohit) no one picked the phone for most of the time, when they picked they just talked nonsense.
The next day when i again called UDAY he asked me to again on Bandra station but i refused.
From 4 th Oct. my phone is not working , i am very packined by such a behaviour from Airtel.
Do I made a sin by taking Airtel connection?

If there is any responsible person in Airtel to solve such problems?

Please help........

Airtel Landline Service — Airtel handling of customer complaints

Its quite sad that I have to complaint about the service provider which is making this complaint possible (i am using airtel braodband for this mail).

Few days back I received a letter from Airtel suggesting that I have made some corrections on the cheque and hence they are returning back. On checking the cheque- it never belonged to me. It was a cheque issued by someone else and delivered at my door step. What if the cheque was misused by a wrong person?

Rightly I wanted an apology letter from Airtel not once, not twice but thrice, each time the executive promising me a time before which it would be delivered but I am still waiting for the all elusive letter. Its been more than 20 days before I complained for the first time.
Moreover, the executive at the help centre refused to share with me the Email ID of any senior exectutive of Airtel!

My question- if we donot know about the email IDs of the service providers senior executive, how would calous behaviour and mishandling of such issues be brought to their notice.
After the episode, I am sure Airtel just wants to make money out of the ever growing population of India rather then providing good service. That is why I feel happy to be using vodafone mobile no. God's grace!!

Well, I am completely agree. The customer care department of Airtel is the worst ever I have seen. Airtel offered me Super 3 plan under which I was supposed to allow discounted Call. But, They never allowed. I called many times to customer care and every time , I was given new compaliant number instead of any resolution.
Airtel setup customer care department not for assistance but for making fun of its customers.
My all friend with such complaints are perfectly right. If Airtel will continue to use such manpower who cannot satisfy a customer-the day is not far when the company will lose its customers who are perfectly INNOCENT. Please listen to my own story which has arrised as a result of zero-handling skill of customer care personnel of Airtel. I am having many prepaid mobile connection from Airtel. Few days ago I observed that my mobile got instantly stopped with no access for incomming or outgoing calls. I contacted Airtel Customer Care at 121 from Gurgaon. I narrated the problem. I was told that the validity has expired. I tried to find out why the validity had expired. I confirmed that I had charged my mobile recently 3-4 days ago by 200Rs. I got only a meagre amount against the credit. Anyway at present I am still having a credit of more than 130 Rs. but still the phone is of no use to me. I am neither receiving incoming calls nor can avail outgoing services. I enquired to give me a solution for same but believe me, none of the airtell guys was in a position to satisfy me. You can understand the result of call centre services which every Indian company uses now for customer satisfaction. ALAS these companies do not understand the problem. These fresh people who have no experience of the line are mostly incompetant to solve the grieviences of the customers. I am left shaken by the attitude of these so called customer care people hired by Airtel. Nobody is ready to go deep into the gravity of the problem to work for redressel. Through this mail I suggest the management of Airtel to think of 1+1=11 and not 10-1=0.

I am having two more prepaid connections and one Broadband connection. I am seriously thinking whether I should continue the services of shift to other services like VOD or BSNL.

You costumer care tele caller is pathetic to reply towards complaint. They are not lessening the complaint properly and not given satisfied answer. And their attitude toward caller is really disappointment.
WORST CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE
I have 444 Airtel corporate plan. so many employs with me, facing low signal problem. At the time of taking connection airtel representative told discount will be provided on landline also. But airtel is not allow discounted Call.This is the matter of misleading. I called customer care number of times. But customer care not answer the reason. Somtimes there system is down, somtime their software is down. My experience is that "No response from the customer care and harassing the customer".The customer care department of Airtel is the worst ever I have seen. At last Maximum no of employee has been decided to cancil his connection. From our department CUG of airtel also has been canciled.

I have recharge my airtel no ([protected]) today15.06.2008 through Reliance C.Card (Citi bank) online process with Rs298/- But I didn’t get full talk time. And today I have received a message from airtel about full talk time with Rs298 recharge. I have done the complaint to airtel customer care executive. But the person who is on duty at that time he talks with me very rudely.

Bharti Airtel Landline Connection — Worst customer care services by Airtel Bharti

I had taken a Landline Phone Connection duringSep/Oct[protected]White Field Bangalore) Initially I had gone for 550 Plan(Phone with Internet connection, but immediately the next day itself I switched to Unlimited Plan and also signed on the Form for the Upgradation(A representative from airtel by name reddy-Mobile No. [protected]) had assured and confirmed me the updation, but after a month, I received the bill of around 9000/- stating that I had opted for 550 Limited Plan, I was shocked to see the bill inspite I had switched to unlimited plan, Till now the issue is not closed and nobody from airtel approached to provide the solution, Now I received Legal letter stating that I need to pay an amount of 13000/- which is unfair and also Unmean to collect such an Amount, Plz check this an update me with justice
No response received yet and on calling customer Care they say we need to wait for teh bill generation date. What Crap, rubbish hah...

My experience is that "No response from the customer care and harassing the customer". Charging as they want and TRAI is doing nothing to pretect the tecommunication rights of the Citizens.

Hi, This is to bring to your notice that Inappropriate Billing is happening for Airtel Mobile Connection that I am holding under Mobile Number [protected]. Please find the attached .Doc document for reviewing the concer that I have regarding the Billing Amount that has been confirmed from Customer Care & the Airtel Account Online. The concern I am having is that I travelled to United Kingdom on the 7th Morning and reached there on 8th Morning. As per the attachment number 3 on the attached document the Unbilled Amount from 05/06/2008 to 12/6/2008 is Rs/- 8733.06, But how can it be possible that there has been minimum of the calls that has been made from [protected] and received very few calls on [protected] and the Unbilled amount gets to Thousands within 6-8 days. There has been instances in the past where Airtel has charged Inappropriate Amounts and after filing complaint the charges that I was not suppose to pay were waived of. It was confirmed from Airtel Customer Care about the call charges and I was confirmed that each minute of call will cost me around Rs/- 40 Per Minute and after which the International Roaming was activated. It was also confirmed that there will be no roaming charge for the Corporate Connections that I am holding. Example: 1 Minute Call costs Rs/- 40 so 10 Min call will cost Rs/- 400, even if 10 Min call has been made on each 8 days then the total charge will be 80 Min and cost will be Rs/- 3200 and there has been no calls longer than 10-15 Min a day rarely as I am in Training for 10 Hours & Sleeping for 8 Hrs and it has not been the case that I am on call all the time or for Hours. The calls that have happened have been Incoming and that to for very short duration totally to 10-15 or 20 Min a day. My cellphone remains on Switch Off mode for most part of the day. If for 7-8 days the Unbilled amount as per them is Rs/- 8733.06, then for a person who will be in International State for 40-48 days the Unbilled would be around Rs/- 43665.3 & Rs/- 52398.36 which cannot be case under any circumstances. Also there will not be even a single person who will spend lavishly on just calls and that to someone like me who has been to States on Training. There has been no resolution from the Customer Care Team, on calling at 121 what I was told was that I will have to make the payment and then the connection will be restored, I tried calling from UK the Nodal Officer's Number at +91-[protected] & then Appellate Authority at +91-[protected] but no one picked the call. It seems that they are not ready to hear from the Customers any more and nor they want to provide any resolution to the Problems being faced by the Customers. It seems that we as Customers are being folled around and blackmailing of make the payment then we will restore your services for which they want to charge what they want to and the Customer has to be penalised for the services and charges that are inappropriate and illegal. Also there has been no intimation being sent through SMS or by Calling in personally regarding Credit Limit Increase, Credit Limit has Reached and please make the payment, any changes in the Tariff or when there is a complaint made through the Airtel web Account. There has been numerous times that they have been intimated of not increasing my Credit Limit as well, but they keep on increasing it and indiscriminate & inappropriate billing happens and they make the bill as much as they can with no solution for the customer other than to make the payment for restoration of services as they know Mobile Communication is something which everyone requires and cannot live without. Also there has been instances of misbehaviour and misconduct by the Customer Care representatives when they are being called regarding some concern like the ones above or any other related to Airtel Mobile Services. There has been times when the Customer Care Executives have disconnected the call without providing any resolution of the concerns being faced. It is a humble request that the issue may kindly be reviewed and resolved at the utmost as the inappropriate disconnection of services is something which is problematic and irritating. It may also lead me to take some legal action which is heard when the customers donot make the payment from service providers, but in my case it has never been that there has been a problem created for the payment. It has been times that delayedpayment has been made but I have also payed the late fee as per the Late Fee charge. NOTE: As I being in UK and my only source of Communication was Airtel which has been disconnected I cannot be contacted through call, so it is requested to you to please provide the resolution of the same on ASAP basis. If in case there needs to be some contact be made then it can be made to someone in Delhi and the contact details for the same can be provided as per the request & requirement and the concern can be summarized to the contact person in Delhi.

I have been misbehaving by your executive again and again. I dont know why... Before 2days i got a call from RETENTION DEPT so Mr GAGAN(retention executive) and Mr ANKIT (manager),
Mr GAGAN called me and started telling me about 1495 plan and giving information about wrong charges of my bill...
So i told him about everything of my account so i also talked to his manager ANKIT so he tried to solve my queries and so at the end he gave my call to gagan and gagan told me about 1495 so after explaining me... gagan said vipin u will get a confirmation sms for your satisfaction from 247... so pls send yes whether you are satisfied or not...
So i refused then he said i cant do anything for you. Send yes then i would do... he was doing a deal for yes247...
I said can i talk to your manager who called me earlier so eather he or his manager refused me to talk and said when i will come to know that you have sent yes then i would do something...
And disconnected my call so i call in customer after his call someone else in customer care who got my entire info and he too disconnected my call having abused...
so i complained by one of your executives and still my BILLING ISSUE is same...
Whenever i call in NODAL OFFICE OR APPELIATE OFFICE eather no one receives or busy...
so on 24june08 i talked to megha who helpd me out in nodal office and suggested me to send this email...

I cannot be more frustrated to write this! I just came back from my personal work abroad. And to my surprise, I realized by their most impudent customer service executive, and shift manager - and post my paying of the complete amount, wherein no one could tell me that this number doesn't exist!!- that my number has been discontinued. There was no communication done by airtel!!! Exuberantly the Manager replied " We have sent the notifications through SMS" ;-))) excuse me if the phone is not working why would you drop a sms to alert the customer???!!! inspite of they possessing my all contact details!!! I have been continuing their services since last three years, and trust me it certainly has been no less than nightmare!
When I ask who do I go and speak with the Manager on duty comfortably ignores it!
Funny, yet precarious! hope there would be some way to come out of this!

I was out of Delhi due to my mother in law death.
But they torcher me daily ( like we are calling from court & some time they say we from police station
for payments & calling to my relatives that Rs 2000 is out standings.
after the payments they assure me that I will get the same number
One week before I come back from my out of station & asking for my number & i got the reply that number is suspend.
I am using AIR TEL number since last 9 years I never got any complaint.

There was outstanding payment of the above mentioned mobile number & yearly payment paid upto March.2009.

After payments they promise me that I will get back this number but several times I call but not get good answer

Now they say to go to Showroom;

Please note that my connection is popaid & rent is paid upto March.2009.

How come it is possible that number will be withdrawn or suspend
