I registered a request on 29th April' 2011 for shifting my Airtel Fixed line connection phone number[protected] from Noida to Delhi the same connection with the account no of 16565420 was then transferred. I had to pay 1 months extra bill till the connection was activated. However sice then Airtel has assumed that I am now living in two separate places and is continuously demanding double bill payment. I have been making complaints regarding this since 26 May 2011 Complaint number 46839502 . Every time I was informed that the problem will be rectified. I have also written complaints to the Airtel email IDs but no action has been taken. I have received 5 threatening phone calls ( phone number[protected] from a mentally disturbed executive who has used objectionable language. Having left no recourse now but to make a police complaint I just want this forum to be a warning to anyone who wishes to transfer airtel landline connections. Was this information helpful? |
Airtel — Fixed Line Connection Shifting
I am staying at indirapuram and made request for shifting my landline number from B6/301 Krishna Apra gardens to B6/201 Krishna Apra gardens on 28th July and was told that this would be done in 2 days. Later on after 3 days we called up and was told that it will take 10 days. When on 13th Aug we called up in morning, i was told that shifting would be done by 2PM and when called up at 2.30PM, finally told that shifting is not possible and there is bill due worth 670.. Really frustrtaed with Airtel Service. Want tof file in Consumer court also.. There is no coutesy that they should inform customer about their incapability rather than making false promises..
