I'm customer for Airtel post paid connection and this compalint is regarding the non reciept of international roaming deposit which was deactivated on 12th Nov''08.
It's been 48 days but I've not received my refund (Rs. 6000) despite of continous follow up on customer care no. 121.
My calls from attendents are disconnected on request to connect to higher authority and sometimes It's also said that cheque is couriered to my residence however, neither I received the cheque nor did I receive any call on my cell no for such courier.
It's painful to be in queue to speak to a customer care executive with false committments (Requested many times for the same dialing 121).
I believe such practice is harassment of customer's interests where company is not bothered about any complaint / request for which it charges the customer.
Unnecessarily I'm charged for late payment charge & interest from credit card company which I used.
A consumer of India appeals against the evil practice of Airtel and requests for heavy penalty to set a benchmark and justice for the customers's money Airtel sits on.
