Hi Guys,

Those who are receiving Text based service and deducting Rs.10 or Rs.20 from ur airtel connection moile, U have a good news. I too was experiencing the same thing when i gave my mobile number to a website to download a free ring tone, i got a message that 'Thank you for subscribing to text based subscription Rs.20 has been charged', by seeing this message i was worried and for every week Rs.20 was charged. So i called airtel customer complaints by dialing 198 (in karnataka) or dial 121(follow instructions to lodge a complaint) and registered a complaint, and within 4 working days my problems was solved, i got a call on the 4th day from airtel customer care that u have been unregistered from that subscription and u do not receive any sms or any money laundrying from ur mobile, it worked for me, I hope it works for you too. BEST OF LUCK :-)
Request you to unregister the subscription where i'm receiving from 64611020.

i am very very upset & WORRIED ...bcos i got the messages that "thanks for using subscriptions based services on airtel WAP.You have been charged Rs.20, and the amount was deducted from my balance...3 times it means total balance Rs.60 was deducted.kindly look into this matter and arrange to refund and adjust the amount so recovered to my mob balance amoutn by giving me an sms ASAP.I had given complaint many times but my problam is not solve.my mobile no is [protected].

I have been charged rs.20 twice receiving a message saying " You have been charged Rs.20 ...thanks for using text based subscription services on Airtel Wap ... "...( Something like this .) on my mobile ..
A totasl of Rs. 40 have ben deducted till now ..SO please someone could tell me how to Deactivate this service ...

I am also receiving same message from Airtel i.e. Thanks for using (Subscriptions, TextBased Services you have been charged Rs 20) as I had deactivate the GPRS and also got the confirmation from Airtel about the deactivation, but still I have getting this kind of messages which has been charged Rs. 20 per week. Please help me to stop all this.
