[Resolved]  Airtel — non-receipt of payment done through Direct Pay

Dear Sir,

I have recharged my mobile No.[protected] online by Rs.333 via my HDFC A/C on dated 21.feb 2010.But instead of regular follow up neither the bank revert my money back nor the airtel credited the amount in my mobile. The reference No. of transaction is[protected] & reply of airtel staff is that refence No.is not tracable & the reply of bank is as follows :

This is with reference to your e-mail dated March 12, 2010 regarding transaction.

This is in reference to your e-mail regarding the non-receipt of your payment done through Direct Pay to the Merchant / Service provider.

The only role of HDFC Bank is in facilitating the payment. The offering / terms and conditions of the product are laid down by the Merchant. Your account has been debited and the payment has already been made to the Merchant / Service provider.

For any clarifications, we would request you to get in touch with the customer care team of service provider, who, on your instructions, will initiate the necessary rectification.

Airtel — non receipt of receipt of payment through online

Sir,
On 03.11.09, I had made the payment of my mobile bill amounting to Rs. 570/- through online, but Airtel has not issued any receipt of that payment. Accordingly I contacted their customer care(121),
they told me that there is no provision of sending the receipt, only bank transaction is the prof that the payment has been made.Whereas other companies are issuing the receipt of online payments such as MTNL, LIC etc. In order to claim that particular bill a proper receipt is required, kindly provide the same, so that i may claim the bill from my office. My mobile no. is [protected].
Please send me a mobile bill for the month of September & my mobile no.[protected]
