cooperative housing society — Mobile Tower on terrace above our flat
Dear Sir;I had forwarded a letter for removal of a mobile tower which sits on the terrace of our building right above our flat. We stay on the top floor. It seems the tower was installed with the builders permission before the society was formed. Since the formation of the society which is almost 6yrs ago no member objected has enquired about it. We bought the flat and shifted here 2yrs ago. After my letters were received by the secretary, a short meeting was taken on the subject of my letter and it was decided to take this matter in the AGM. During AGM it was decided to carry out a voting from all members giving them an idea to seek monetary benefit on maintainance of the building from the builder or simply ask the builder to remove it as a preventive measure.
The comittee members took a lot of time to send us the minutes of the meeting of the AGM and on 10th November we received the same.
We were not surprised to know that the comittee in looking forward for seeking monetary benefits from the builder.
We want to know how much capacity do we as members of the society have to get the tower removed.
Are there any special branches with the Police or State government who look into such complaints of the residents of the society ?
