[Resolved] ICICI Pru Life Insurance — Refusal of Insurance claim | |
Reference : Policy No 02429982 I have been paying Rs.1000/- per month from the year 2006 onwards towards this policy . In the benefits column , you have assured a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- towards accidents n disability . I have fractured my leg and have a permanent plate fixed on my right heel bone and the expenses for the surgery have exceeded Rs.50,000/-. You say that you will be there at every step of our lives but to my dismay , ICICI refuses to admit any claim saying its a life time pension . I am so disappointed and it is not at all fair and what is the point in paying for insurance when it doesn't help when I am in need ? This has to be taken to the notice of the CEO , MRS.CHANDA D KOCHHAR . If you can really help me , I can submit all my medical reports . Was this information helpful? | |

Icici Pru — insurance claim
I am friend of Mr. Pravin Chavan, whose one leg has been amputed and another one is totally disabled after acciden in April. He was in hospital for around 6 to 7 months. He has taken policy from ICICI pru with disability and premium waiver rider. His insurance premium was due on 9th September 2010. According to the term of company, he gets 1 month time after due date to pay the premium. but on 27th septmeber 2010 he submitted all the documents to the company. Now company claims they are not able to settle claim because insurance policy is lapsed.Anybody, please advise.
