My son (student) has opened an saving account with ATM debit card facility, with HDFC thattenagar branch, Nasik on 27/04/08. without consent of customer, HDFC bank has issued him a International Gold Debit card, with 500/- p.a. already debitted from his account. After follow up with HDFC they realised the mistake & agreed that they will replace & reverse the debit transaction, even my son has submitted an application without his fault. As a student he needs only a ordinary DEBIT CARD @ 100 p.a.. So far around 15 calls have been made to concerned person with whom account is opened. Evry time excuses were given & as of today no progress. Can HDFC play such a horrible game with clients that too without a single apology or phone call about the reminders from client?
