Myself Munesh Kumar Purohit and My booking ID No. is IN1104B01085. I booked an international return ticket with Makemytrip.com at 4th April 2011 for Delhi to Santiago (Chile). I have used my one side ticket from Delhi to Santiago and now tried to cancel one way ticket. At the first week of June 2011 when my secretary Ms. Ruchi Bansal contacted to Makemytrip.com customer care department they said I will get the refund of Rs. 29500/- after deducting their charges. Ms. Ruchi Bansal contacted directly to the Emirates Airlines they said I will get the refund of Rs. 31000/- from Emirates and he cannot tell her the refund of LAN Airlines because the travel was planned in two flights. After getting the information from the airlines Ms. Ruchi Bansal again contacted to the Makemytrip.com on 17th June 2011 and Mr. Ravi (customer care executive) said they will refund only Rs. 29500/-. Ms. Ruchi Bansal told Mr. Ravi that airline is refunding more amount which you are refunding to me then he said he need the boarding pass which I got at the time of my travel from Delhi to Santiago at 13th April 2011 after that he will cross check with the airline. I was not interested to wait for anymore and we agreed with Mr. Ravi for Rs. 29500/- and given all my account details to Mr. Ravi vide Reference No. IN1106R0086760. He said I will get refund within three working days. After waiting for three days Ms. Ruchi Bansal again contacted to Makemytrip.com at 22nd June 2011 then the customer care executive told her that they still required the boarding pass which I got at the time of travel from Delhi to Santiago then I scanned that boarding pass and sent to Makemytrip.com on 25th June 2011 at their email id [protected]@makemytrip.com and Ms. Ruchi Bansal again contacted to Makemytrip.com on the same day Mr. Narender attended her and said that the request has forwarded to the concerning department and we will get revert within 72 hours but we did not receive any reply from Makemytrip.com. Again on 29th June 2011 Ms. Ruchi Bansal contacted to Makemytrip.com then Mr. Pawan said wait for one more day because they have not received any revert from airline. After waiting one day again Ms. Ruchi Bansal contacted to Makemytrip.com then they said they have initiated the refund process and we will get the Rs. 20500/- in our account within seven working days. They made a big fraud with me after their own commitment for Rs. 29500/- they are refunding only Rs. 20500/-. Please do the needful.

Credit Card Account Charged Twice for the same transaction
Credit card account has been charged twice for a single transaction. The travel was done in Jan 2011 and post reconcileation of the credit card account where the charge appears twice on my account a complaint was raised with makemytrip.com on 8th Feb 2011. So far have only received responses that there will be revert on my case after 72 hours. There has been several instances of the missed 72hrs deadlines. I have all the copies of the correspondence with this company.

Despite 1 week of repeated calls to rebook the return leg of a flight ticket, I have not succeeded. Multiple call transfers, hours on hold were the norm. Terrible service
