We all have been cheated by Mayajaal. Complex. They are literally taking of our hard earned money. For each movie ticket they are charging Rs.200/-with (a Pepsi & Popcorn). Pepsi has to be banned in the country, they are forcing us to pay this amount, I really wonder, a big corporate company is cheating the public. Tamilnadu Government has to take a proper action to stop this and they have to be punisched.

Please put a pull stop immediately.

Hey Guys, I am really tensed. I booked 6 tickets to see Unnai pol oruvan movie two days back. I thought I would note down the order number sometime later. Tomorrow is the show and tonight I am trying to open up the website but it doesn't come up. I don't know my order number. Will I be able to get it from the counter if I mention this to them.

I am put up in Tambaram and I have booked Qualis to take my family with me. I have spent too much money on this and I don't know if I will be able to see the movie tomorrow.

Really really worried ...

my online booking is not suceeding at al ...after giving al steps

I lost Rs.280.I didn't get any confirmation mail and I lost the ticket.This should be taken care by the judiciary and should be considered as cheating the customer.

I can understand the frustration that you are all going through. Iam the guy who designed the look and feel of the site - Mayajaal. I have been getting a lot of feedback to my personal emails and my website. Like I have been telling everyone, I just "REDESIGNED" the site and have no hand in the backend functionality of the website. The backend functionality / online ticketing has been developed by some other company. Please stop sending me emails / writing frustrated comments on my guestbook. Please get in touch with the Mayajaal authorities if you want your problems resolved.

I booked a ticket for 4 persons. But error came at end .Now I would like to know the ticket is booked or not.But ticket H6, H7, H8, H9 are booked which are tried by me. So pls confirm.

The incident happend on 5/02/10 night 8 Pm when myself and my family entered mayajal where the parking ticket collector demanded Rs. 25/- for parking.
I turn i asked him i dont have abooking is it possible to get ticket for any movie he said yes you will get.
he gave me the token for Rs.25/-.When my wife checked the counter on ticket is available for any movie till11 pm and we don"t want to take a chance on the same and we decided to leave.
When I reached the gate it was 8.20 Pm and asked for refund One Antony, Hari were rood in answering that they can't return money unless ticket is furnished, when in searched for the token i could not able to find the token. These two we so uragent in answering me and forced me to move . on the way back I found the token and almost iam nering my home. when i noticed the token the timre of entry is wrongly printed and the car no. is wronly printed. And the ticket says "ticket is valied for one vehicle Management is not responsible for loss or damage to vehicle. Parking at owners risk. Thank you Visit again."
Lot of ambiguity and unsecured liability for the vehicle entering mayajal the responsibility taken by the management.

It not amatter of 25 rupees but a matter of service given to the customer, the rude behaviour of the the employee.
If proper response is not expected within 7 days it will be taken legally.

I strongly recommend Mayajaal's online portal should have a ticket cancellation facility. What do you have to say guys...

this movie complex and their services, website are pathetic. they say they are one of the best multiplex in chennai.. but thats not true. the sound system at many screens sucks.. whenever a rat runs you will hear DTS sounds.. awesome.parking lot for two wheelers are on the hot sun..u will be sure loosing some considerable qty o[censored]r fuel parking here. and then food court is stinking. restrooms no need to ask. coming to bowling alley, u will be loosing ur patience as everytime the reloader is stuck or scores reset. shops inside the complex are way too costly for no reason. kids games never work properly. u can see many disappointed kids. the prizes they give are even too worst. my overall advice is never ever dare to mayajaal. its a place for some "secret and divine" lovers. though TN govt announced max of 120rs tickets, here they dont care abt any GOs.god save our people.

Please be aware while booking movie tickets online at Mayajaal. Many netizens have been cheated by them while trying to book online movie ticket. It is imperative that you refrain from booking online from mayajaal since you neither get the movie ticket booked or your money refunded. Although I was aware of the mayajaal online booking scam, from various sources (it never occured to me that these guys would steal as less 300rs from unsuspecting netizens. The following is my trauma from booking online at mayajaal.

I booked an online net ticket from Mayajaal Website at http://www.mayajaal.com/ on Sep 18th, 2010. While the booking was underway, after the bank transaction, the browser redirected me to a blank page at mayajaal website...since this is unusual, I checked up my bank account, I found that 480rs has been debited from my account by mayajaal. I called mayajaal at their support number mentioned in their website (phone number:[protected]/65).I tried both the number for more than an hour untill a lady picked up the phone, I informed her that I booked an online movie ticket and asked if the ticket was booked, she informed me that the ticket was not booked and informed me that they will recredit the money back to my account within 5 working days. I called back Mayajaal on the 6th day after they failed to credit back my money as mentioned, a person by name of Aranganathan took the call and informed me that he will look into it and get back to me after 15 mins. I never recieved the call, so I called them back again after an hour, regarding my refund..As soon as I told him my name, he put me on hold..and I was on hold for about 20mins untill I realized that no one is going to pick my call. I called back again to the mayajaal head office(not the support number), as soon as I mentioned online booking, without even listening to me, he directly transferred the call back to the same number, where the same person who put me on hold, took the call again...After much persuasion, he asked me to call a person named Meenakshi Sundaram with mobile number[protected]. Believe me, till today I am trying this persons number. As soon as this person sees my mobile number he blindly disconnects it and I guess this would be my 200th time calling mayajaal and this person for a refund but they either disconnect my call blindly or put me on hold.. So netizens, please refrain from using Online Booking at Mayajaal given the fact that these guys are just a bunch of frauds.
