[Resolved]  Redbus / Jeyam Travels — Poor quality alternate bus and drunken driver - Need Refund

Hello,

I had booked my bus tickets to coimbatore on 23 Dec 2010 via redbus.in. The PNR# for the reserved tickets is JYTMNYT72437646 and it was booked in Jeyam Travels. When we reached koyambedu for boarding the bus, the expected bus belonging to Jeyam Travels had not arrived at all due to breakdown and we were asked to sit inside a different bus in different seat numbers. And the new bus was of lesser quality (Side window broken, Damaged sides of the bus which makes to feel that the bus has just come out of an accident) than the original bus and the driver was drunk. Still we were asked to board the bus. When we reported about this to the authorities they treated us very badly and spoke rude without realizing that it was their mistake for not providing the bus as mentioned in redbus. We asked to refund the tickets but they did not respond properly and wanted us to go to the office for refund.

With lot of agony and mental depression caused by the rude behavior of the authorities we had no other way that we bought tickets again in different bus to reach coimbatore.This is not acceptable and we need the refund of Rs.2331 that we paid to redbus for traveling through Jeyam Travels.
