After 1 week of running around, doing research and analysis towards what fridge we have to buy for the family, and after running down to over 7 shops, we ended up in GIRIAS Investments in Chennai to buy the fridge we were looking for. We wanted a standard fridge which had a water dispencer in front since the kids in the house drink alot of cold water, so we were keen in having a fridge with a water dispencer.
When we entered the shop (GIRIAS Investments), they told that they dont have that model but have others models instead and they showed us a catalogue of Samsung (October 2008). On that catalogue, there were two models the RT58 EASM and RT62 WASM, the WASM model is the only 2 door model standard model with a water dispencer, but in the catalogue the pictures were switched and RT58 EASM was having the dispencer instead, when we checked up with Girias they promised us that everything was correct and also convinced us that the catalogue was perfect as per the model.
On the delivery day, we had to lift the heavy box 2 floors up and when we opened it, we found out that the RT58 model does not have a water dispencer, we had a big fight with both GIRIAS and SAMSUNG INDIA because all our time and analysis went to a waste because both GIRIAS and SAMSUNG didnt care of the error made in the catalogue and as consumers we were made to bear the brunt for their negligence in the product catalogue.
I there fore request a formal apology from GIRIAS and SAMSUNG INDIA for causing us so much agony towards what they have given to us, instead of what we expected out of the company catalogue.

But apart from those all things, I am suppose to get a Steam Iron (Pigeon brand) for free with the washing machine. I was told that stock is not available, and will be available to you in 4 days.
It has been 15 days, but I did not receive iron.
I am also planning to lodge a complain against Girias soon.
NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM GIRIAS
