Sir,

I have purchased the above mentioned set i.e. “Samsung Star GT-S5233A” on 19/5/2009.

I have written so many complaints on online to Samsung Company Service Centre and Two letters directly to Company at the following address:-

The Manager,

Gautam Buddha Nagar, U.P.

regarding above problem that I am unable to connect the internet connection by using Bluetooth Modem of "Star GT-S5233A". But company have not taken interest in solving my problem and till date I have not received any reply from the Samsung Company. If there is problem in the set and no solution is there then it should be changed or company should take back and give me my money.

Till date I have not received any reply from Samsung.

I am enclosing herewith the Corrier Receipt and Speed Post Receipt of my complaint to Samsung Company.

Please help me.

    I had purchased samsung washing machine model no WA85 HAG in 3 nov 2006. Due to lighting control panel and one other part was burnt. I submit complaint in shillong vide BP [protected]. customer care exect told me that parts are not avialabl;e. than I came on [posting to Wellington intamilnadu herer also lodge a complaint. i recd the the same reply. however one employee from Assian electronic from coimbatore suggested me that your washing machine can be replaced after deciding the depreciation of 40% and it will take more than 15 days. request advise me if it is possible I am also ready to by the new model and pay the defference but depriciion is more. please confirmrnajay

      Dear Sir,

      Subject: - Samsung Star GT-S5233A (Bluetooth problem)

      I want to bring the following to your kind notice:-

      1. I have purchased the above mentioned set i.e. “Samsung Star GT-S5233A” on 19/5/2009.

      2. I have started the procedure to connect the internet on my PC by using my mobile set as modem but unable to connect.

      3. I have contacted your online support on phone no. [protected] and 30308282. The person at the support line was also unable to connect and advise me to go to Service Centre at Swaroop Nagar, Kanpur.

      4. I have contacted the Service Centre and after taking appointment to come at Service Centre at 2:30pm. Before leaving my place I have again contacted the Service Centre and on the advice to come. On reaching there they told me to come at 5:00pm… A Joke with me in a very Hot day of 47 DC. After so many arguments they were ready to see my problem but the Engineers at the Service Centre were also unable to connect the internet. Then the Manager of the Centre has advised me to go to Lucknow or depositing the set at their centre for updating the software of the mobile set…. Again a joke with me that I will give them my new set without any proper checking which I purchased only few days back. I have spent about three and half hours at Service Centre.

      5. When I have contacted the dealer- Unisef Marketing, Shop No.43, Sagar Market, Karachi Khana, Kanpur., from which I have purchased the set he also sent an engineer for providing me the help. On failing he contacted some Trainer for help. The Trainer told him that the software provided with the set is not proper and advice to download the Samsung New PC Studio for Tocco Lite set from www.samsung.co.uk. …Again a Joke to download a huge size programme.

      6. I have tried three times and downloaded the Samsung New PC Studio software but the same was corrupted at the time of installing on my PC. Then I contacted your online support for sending me the correct software they have refused my request that Samsung provide only online support and they have forced me to download the software from internet, if I want to solve my problem.

      7. Then I have again downloaded a huge size of 110mb in about 12 hours time.

      8. I again contacted online support and get a success of connecting the internet on my PC under USB Modem of my Mobile set. Now I requested the same person to help me to connect the internet on my PC under Bluetooth Modem of my Mobile set. They have tried but unable to connect. During the process the set was rebooted so many times.

      9. The person at the online support told me that my Bluetooth device attached with my PC is not proper then I have purchased new one. The first one is quite well because before this Samsung Star – GT-S5233A I was using Nokia and Sony Ericssion sets on this Bluetooth device.

      10. After purchasing the new Bluetooth device I again contacted online support but again there is a failure and the person at the Service Centre advice me to go to Service Centre at Kanpur. Which I refuse because my first experience was very bad. But on insisting I have taken the time from the Service Centre at Kanpur in between the conversation with the person at online support.

      11. After taking time when I reach at 5:00pm on 16/7/2009 at the Service Centre the person to whom I have discussed the problem and taken appointment told me that the problem is still persisting and they cannot help in this regard. Then I told him this thing he can also inform me on telephone at the time of taking appointment. But I have told him that internet is connecting under USB Modem of the mobile set which they do not know and I have practically shown to him that I am getting internet connection under USB Modem of my set and told him that I am facing problem in getting internet connection under Bluetooth Modem of my set and the set was rebooted so many times. Sir I have spent more than FIVE hours at the centre and no one taking interest in solving my problem and they were busy in their other jobs. After giving so much time I ask the Service Engineer now what should I do he told me to come to Service Centre on Saturday i.e. on 18th of July 2009.

      12. On 18th when I contacted the Service Station they have told me that they will contact me on receiving the solution.

      13. I bring to your kind notice that I get connected on internet by using Bluetooth Modem of my Mobile set under the old Bluetooth device connected with my PC only for one time.

      Now after so many complaints from 26/27.05.2009 to 15.7.2009 on internet site of Samsung and going to Service Centre I have reached on the following conclusion and questions:-

      That …….

      1. I have done a sin to purchase a product of Brand Name called Samsung on 19/5/2009 after seeing the great advertisement on TV. Before this I was using my Nokia set with satisfaction.

      2. Will any customer like to deposit his new set at a Service Station or go to Lucknow and will waste atleast one or more days?

      3. Should the Company not examine all the features of the model before its launching?

      4. If the software provided with the set is not proper and the Customer have also paid some money to the Company for this then why should a customer to go the Cyber Cafe for downloading this. Should it not be provided by the Company?

      5. There is no Value of time of customer for Samsung Company.

      6. Should Company not take back all the set from the market and also from their Customers who are facing such problem for the reputation of the Company and re-launch the model? Here is an example when Nokia have changed their batteries.

      7. I am sorry to say that besides repeated complaints and its reminders and also threat to go to Consumer Forum nothing could be done in above regards, which I never hoped from a reputed company like Samsung and received only a system generated reply/SMS on my e-mail and Mobile.

      Now I am writing this letter directly to the Company with the hope to please change this Mobile Set (GT-S5233A) having proper software and hardware from which I am totally fed up.

      I WAS PURCHASED THE SAMSUNG SGH-U600 MOBILE, THIS MOBILE IS NOT SUPPORTED THE JAVA APPLICATIONS BUT I HAVE THE SOME APPLICATIONS ON MY MOBILE

        Sir, this is vikas kumar sharma, resident of MEGHADRIPETA COLONY, KANCHARAPALEM, VISAKHAPATNAM beg to informed u that i ve given my mobile phone long back hardly one month happened and there wasn't any intimation further.i ve given my phone on 24 july 2009 and whenever i ask them about the phone, they make me to roam hear and there.Literally they are making me fool teling that your phone went to bangalore for repair.Again the next day when i visited, there are telling me some new story which is just a negligence towards the customer.They made us lot of harrsament, tell us to come on a particular day just to waste the time of customer.
        So, i kindly request u to take some stringent action against it.hoping for a positive reply.eagly waiting for ur reply.

          Dear Sir,

          I have 3 Samsung Air Conditioners in the Office anmd 3 Split Level Samsung ones at Home. I am finding that it is impossible to keep these working. Every month the capacitors go bad and have to be changed. This is of course in the summer months. I feel that there is something wrong with the machines. And would like to state that never again will I buy your machines.

            Sir,
            II bought one Samsung microwave on 15th Aug 2009. On 16th of August while cooking a food, the internal glass plate got cracked due to heating. This means that the glass plate was not at all heat proof which it was supposed to be.I lodged a complaint with Samsung service centre, to send someone and check the issue. They kept on saying they are sending somebody but nobody came and checked it. I am inside the warranty period and they are suppose to change the glass plate free of cost. Since they know this they are delaying the service day after day, and as a customer I am suffering after buying the product for Rs 10, 000 with my hard saved money.

            Can you please let me know if there is any procedure so that I can at least push them to check my faulty oven.

            Samsung — changing of internal plate

            I, R K Sigh serving in indian army and at present out of country on deputation. My son Ankit Bhadauria who had purchased a SANSUNG mobile J 150 from JAIN MOBILE SHOP morar Gwalior (MP). The date of purchase is 23 Nov 08 at the cost of 4700/-. After two month the speaker of that cell phone started giving problem. when my son comtected to the concerning shop heinstead of taking initiative in this matter matter, sent my son to sevice center. Service center which was not authorised change new plate with old one. and said to my son that you would have to pay Rs 2700/- if you want to get it done. So my son came back. This is matter of open cheating. my wife contacted many concerned peaple but to no avail. The phone NO of my son was than [protected]. The service center add is as under - SAI KRIPA MOBILE REPAIRNG CENTER JINCI NALA NO 1 Gwalior (MP) Now you are requested to take immediate action in this connection . I do hope you will take action.

            SAMSUNG/MICROWAVE — Glass Plate cracks

            I purchased a samsung microwave on 5/03/09 from sector 22, chandigarh(Surindra Rdios) under exchange scheme. But on the second day it plate cracks, when v called surindra radios he said I am forwarding ur complaint to service centre & provides us the service representatives mob no. After that we started following service representatives on his mob phone, he said plate is not in our stock, u have to wait for one week, after one week he replaces the plate.
            Horribly on the same day in the evening plate cracks again, by this when we called that representative he said now u hv to pay Rs 800 for that.
            I am not the new user, using the same from last 6 years of the IFB company and now they are not entertaining us.

              I purchased a samsung 1.5 ton split air-conditioner from the Canteen Stores Department in May this year. Barely 2 weeks into its service, I discovered water leaking from the pipe that exits the water outside. The local service centre headed by one Mr Saji was contacted. Despite the fact that I stay just 50 feet away from the service centre, the service centre is unable to provide assistance on time. Finally when they arrived, they simply said that the problem will continue and that they don't have a solution for it. So I decided that instead of the water falling outside I would take the pipe inside and put a bucket so that the water can be released into a bucket, with the hope that the leak would gradually stop. To my surprise the water is now falling from the front part of the A/C and into the room. We contacted the service centre Mr Saji yet again. He said that he would send someone, but noone has arrived till date. We are having sleepless nights.
              Why does Samsung have such irresponsible people to run such service centres? How do I address such a problem and how do I get justice?.

              I totally agree with the complaint and I myself have also experience the same problem with my samsung split air-conditioner to which the service engineer gives me the nearly the same excuse. Finally I got my drain pipe cleaned from a out-side serviceman at my own cost to resolve the issue.

                I am using many appliances from Samsung like LCD, TV, Mobile Phone, Microwave Oven, Washing Machine, AC and Digicam. I purchased LCD in March 2008 which was having operational guarantee of one year from Samsung. I was disappointed to notice that LCD card got damaged only in July 209, just after 15 months of purchase.

                  i had submitted my cell phone at mDR services India Pvt Ltd (UG 30, Suneja Tower District Center, Janak Puri, New Delhi - 110058, INDIA----Tel no .[protected]).on the 12 th of july 2009 th problem was Hangging, keys not working on the phone.The target delivery was 27th july.When i went to collect the phone, i was informed that your set is Ok now.But, when i checked out the phone is not working and i was facing the same problem.So next day, i revisited the samsung service center on 28th july and again i had submitted my mobile phone in samsung service center.This time target delivery date is 12th August.But, now i am trying to communicate with them and they are not giving any positive response to me.As, no date 19th August my mobile phone is in samsung service center.My cell phone is only 1 month old.Model No.Samsung SGH-M620.Kindly do the needful.

                    samsung m 620 mobile — very poor service

                    i purchased a mobile m 620 before 2 months. it gets off after 10 mintues itself. i go to service centre. they said that take it tomorrow in good condition. but aftr three days they said that take it after 20 days we will send it to delhi for software problem.
                    why so much harrashment to me when i paid them full amount.
                    no stand by set is given, will it remain off and is it possible to leave for a month without mobile as it is company's problem

                      Hi i am using my thrid samsung mobile now, and never before i have had problems with it.But now my new set S3500 is giving me problems.Itsbeen approximately 2mnths now that i have purchased this set, each time mobile gets switched off, it restarts and i lose all my settings i goes back to the factory settings.While viewing things, it sometimes gets restarted automatically.I did get back to the store where i purchased, they advised maybe its software problem and had to go to service center for software updation, I did take my set to the Samsung service center, near navrang, next to swati hotel. ...the person Mr.Simbu just opened the whole set and advised that the motherboard had to be changed and it would costRs.2500 changed, and advised that water had enetered which is not true when we told hiim he asked us to go to the consumer complaints court.I am very much upset with this, Please help...

                      Hi, even I bought s3500 one month back and I am getting the same problem, restarting often. I already got my software reinstalled in samsung service center. But still the mobile is getting restarted automatically and I am losing my settings. Please help.

                      i think this s3500 should be banned.irritating..if the person bought this mobile as his or her first mobile ..they get vexed about mobile phone..really disgusting.
                      I too have purchased the S3500 and after 20 days of purchase it cannot be put on so i have sent it to the shop where i have purchased and after 3 months they returned me the cell after repair, and again it happened the same problem and did the same repair and gave me. Now this is my 3rd time this cell started giving. It was under warranty when it was returned to the shop with the problem, i am fed up now as i am far from the shop to send it for repair and was 2-3 month without a cell. The question here is " do the samsung company replace with the new set if it was within the warranty period and if so how should i contact the company, i have asked the person in the shop and he denied the to replace.

                      SAMSUNG MOBILE S3500 — S3500 Worse Battery life

                      Hi i have buy samsung S3500 from Poorvika, from the day one the battery backup & sofware is problem. Even while making call the system get hanging. So pls don't suggest any one to buy this mobile...................
                      The same hand set mentioned above by me has the same problem and lately when it was sent to samsung care centre they advised me to change the mother board and told me that water has got in which is never happaned, earlier when it was sent to the care centre it was said because of software and now the same is said to be with mother board and need to pay 2000 rupees to change with a warranty of 1 month.
                      I never believe in those warranties with samsungs. May be samsung company can hear these words of cries from the world around.

                      what is samsung care centres really mean to be doing . I insisted that water never got in but the person in the care centre replied me that it must be becuase of the sweat from my hand, it is too funny and i being the techinical engineer cannot believe in this person's words.Sets being able affect during hand held. ( to my surprise i felt the phones here after need to be designed in such a way where it need not have to be hand held for using. wow...
                      We need to know the solution with these samsung sets specailly with S3500 model, may be we have to take this foools in service centres trying to make fun of themselves by giving nonesense like liquid got inside the set due to sweats from the hands... fools i feel those people are

                      Last year impressed with all features and purchased two handsets but realized within six month that made big mistake. Carried out three/two times repair for both the handsets for same problem i.e. display became black and sliding not working.                       I had the same problem. I think all of you have purchase your mobile from sub-dealer in best price like me. I bought this mobile in 5500/-, that time price itself was 6000/-. This bloody rascal people changes accs. & put duplicate. This restarting problem is with battery only. Just try to put original battery & check. I did the same & i have no problem since 10 months.

                        I purchased samsung L 700 on 29.04.09 and within 3 months batterry always show low
                        i take all care like switch off then charge and i also not listen any FM And No more cotacts with people
                        i visited gallery he told me sir switch o[censored]r cell then charge, remove ur memory card then charge bcz chances of virus all this i do, and in last he told me sir ur battery is correct but problem in mother board
                        so i sending ur cell to vashi main branch i hand over my piece for 15 days and i think u got new cell bcz ur cell many time haang.
                        first day battery shows full and once i charge battery whole night and carry with me, i recd only one phone call 07:00 min then automitically batt shows low

                        so what i Do ?
                        so please look in to this matter

                          I own the piece( samsung star GT-S5233A) from may 14th, worked excellect till 28th july and then the touch screen starts acting up by 2nd august the screen is completly non functional.

                          taken to the authorised service center( Aug 6th), who examins the piece and says the LCD need to be replaced and should be ready in a weeks time.( aug 13th).
                          It has not been repaired till date( Aug 17th eve) and no replacement etc have been provided. the only reply recieved is that the parts are not availible in the company so the repair cannot be made. if wished the phone can be returned in the present state.

                          I need to be traveling for my employement abroad and faced great damages already because of the lack of communication. and currently have to leave the phone behind / purchase a new phone.

                              I recently bought 2 Samsung Gravity SGH-t459 cellphones. Shortly thereafter I purchased two external memory cards for both phones. I was very careful to read the manual, which made no mention of type of memory. I then went to Samsungs website where it clearly stated 4GB microSD and microSDHC were acceptable, so I purchased 4GB microSDHC. Inserting these into both phones, the phone reported recognizing the memory. When the day came to transfer files to the memory, the phone showed no additional memory. Talking to T-Mobile, the tech indicated that although the consumer documentation does not indicate that microSDHC will not work, they had documentation from Samsung stating that Memory must be microSD, not HC. I asked if there was any firmware upgrade or other recourse, but the only thing the tech could do was to refer me to Samsung tech support. I went through four levels of support at Samsung. I must say that these four individuals were very effective at guaranteeing that I will never buy a Samsung product. Not only did the mistake at their website cost me dollars, the support line also cost me two very frustrating hours. The 1st tech, even though I told him that T-Mobile informed me that SDHC would not work and I was seeking some other remedy, he took me on an adventure through my telephones men us to try to get it to work for over ½ hour. Although I suppose I should appreciate the effort, a competent tech would have informed me that this was would not work and would have immediately informed me of my recourse. Tech # 1 gave up in frustration and send me to level 2. The level 2 tech did basically the same thing for in excess of another ½ hour, but at least concluded that the memory would not work. Dahhhhh! I had already told both techs that’s what T-Mobile already told me. What really took the prize was that the solution this tech offered was for me to use my data cable and PC. Sorry Samsung, but I want the memory in my phone to work. When I told this tech that while this is fine for backing up my files, but that I wanted a remedy for the memory that Samsung misled me into buying, she sent me onto level 3. At least the level 3 tech told me outright that SDHC will never work with this cellphone, but me on hold to see what the possible remedy might be. He check back 2 minutes later to say he was still checking; again, and again and again … I lost track of how many times. Finally he got me to direct him to his own web site with the misleading information - when he agreed that he too saw the reference to 4GB SD or SDHC, he put on hold once again and came back with the grand prize of all remedies. He actually had the nerve to tell me that they would correct their website. Quite PO’d at this point, I pointed out that if I had simply purchased this memory counter to Samsung recommendations, I would have happily absorbed the loss. I went onto say that his remedy was unacceptable and the Samsung was directly responsible for my loss. In reply to this he sent me to Samsung Executive Customer Service. This guy was a real prize. I explained the issues once again and his reply was that their website claims that specifications are subject to change without notice, which is a lie. I printed out the page for the memory specification and this statement is nowhere to be found. So, now my problem in Samsung’s eyes is fixed; their web page now claims that the cellphone supports 4GB SD. Regardless, my remedy is to realize that Samsung does not stand behind their products and provides incompetent and dishonest information, which ultimately screws many of their customers (a quick web search will show numerous consumer wrestling with the same issue). Certainly anyone who trusts my advice will steer clear of Samsung products. I only hope my misadventure with this terrible company will save other similar losses. One last note: Samsung now only claims to support 4GB SD, but the real kicker is that a little research will show that there is no such thing; all 4GB memory is SDHC.

                                I will fail in my responsibility if I donot high light the tretatement given to my complaint by your office.

                                It is disgusting to say the least, to see that a Company of such repute which claims global status, is so poor in its after sales.

                                I had bought a Samsung Front loading automatic washing machine WD 7652 SUV in Sept 2008.from Arvee Sales Agencies, Lajpatnagar New Delhi I have been using it since then and am happy with its performance.

                                On 4th August it started malfunctioning and I called your call centre at 0120/3232/8080 and registered my complaint no.[protected].I was then directed to a service person who tried to guide me to correctg the fault. After a while he conceded that a service mechanic needs to be sent to look into the problem and told me that within 24 hours someone would visit me. So till 5 PM on 5th, I had waitied and then called the same number and was told that the mechanic is on his way and would reach me by 7 PM. I asked the person if she could call him on his mobile and find the approximate time he would come, as I had to go to meet a doctor. I did get a call from some person cliaiming to be the Co-ordinator and he told me that it was a holiday and there was no question of anyone visiting me that day. I was upset and insisted that he cannot do this to me, as I was waiting the whole day and even a little while ago I was told that the engineer is on his way.

                                He then assured me that somehow he will locate an engineer and send him to me before 8 PM.

                                That was the last I heard from him. No one came.

                                Then on 6th around mid day I called to speak to the supervisor and I had extreme difficulty in getting her on the line..finally I did get her and I told her I was unhappy and that I would not like to keep the machine of a company which does not care for its customers inconvenience and would also tell me layers of lies.

                                I insisted that it is a breach of contract that you would render service to me in return to what I paid you and you did not honour it.

                                Be that as it may, therefater, none came till about 6 PM when M Gupta called me and asked for the whole story. He also told me that they did not plan to send anyone as I had inisited in the afternoon that the machine should be taken back. He argued that Samsung should be given an opportunity to correct itsel[censored]Anyway I agreed and the Engineer came around 8 PM and tried to set it right. He wanted to change the pump and tried replacing with his pump and then found what he was caryying was more faulty!!!He then told us that the machine has no problems but we should put off the main supply when the machine is not in use!!!This was news to us, as we never did so in the last 11 months.

                                Anyway we followed his instructions and again the machine malfunctioned. I called Mr Gupta and he sent another Engineer who came and replaced the pump and said the same thing...that is keep the mains off...anyway we somplied.

                                But to our surprise, the machine is still not working properly. The problems are the same

                                1.there is a major creaking noise for the first ten minutes inside the drum when the machine starts
                                2.the machine does not complete its fukl cycle and often gets back to earlier cycle..ie., if it is 58 minute cycle, it goes back to say 20 nimutes cycle and then backs itself to another 45 minutes..clearly indicating malfunctioning of some of the circuits
                                3. the drying is not uniform...some clothes are dripping wet and some partly dry

                                we inisit that a thorough examination is done and someone senior enough who understands this machine looks into this.

                                We have given following compliant,

                                1. once door is locked it cannot be opened.
                                2. water donsn"t dry after wash.

                                to addend the fault the service sent there service technician Mr. shanker, he came and tampered with the door and left without rectitifing. after complaint to the call centre they have sent and service technician on 7/4/11 mr. K.k.Shah. he said the following spares has to be changed,
                                1. door switch
                                2.PCB board
                                3.Drain Motor.
                                they have taken taken the Machine to their service centre to repair, abut till date they have not rectifiied the fault, daily they are giving some or the other reason for the delay. We ahve no other alternative but to complaint to you. PLease reply to this mail immediately.

                                    Purchased hanset (Samsung Star C5233) from Planet M (Add. : Shop No. G4 & G13, Vikas Chambers, Plot No.1, 2, 3, Community Centre Block-A, Paschim Vihar, New Delhi-110063)on 10/07/2009.
                                    The fault was of the improper shutting-down and restarting of the handset by itself.
                                    The retailer i.e. Planet M are providing no response against the complaint filled to them.
                                    The above handset was submitted to them on 07/08/2009 and till date it has not been rectified.
                                    Don't know when we will be getting the hanset back.

                                      I had recently taken samsung mobile model no. SAM Raaga (SCH-B239) sl. no. A[protected]E8. I had purchased it on 24/2/09. I started facing problem in my mobile. It remained on only with the charger and switched off as soon as removed from charging. I gave it to the dealer for repair on 10/8/09 and have still not received the mobile.

                                      I would request for my mobile to be repaired as soon as possible and returned to me or else ask the dealer to give me a standby handset till my set is repaired.
