I had a very bad experience withe Sangita travels on 13the Jan 2012. I booked a ticket from Bangalore to Pondicherry therough Red bus. Bus came at 11.15 pm to Shanthei nagar, Bangalore.To shock of all thee passengers thee bus was not a Hi-tech as mentioned in red bus website. The bus not even belongs to Sangita travels and some otheer travel name was mentioned. AC is freezing inside and no control for AC in some of thee seats. However thee bus started from Bangalore and it reached Madiwala in Bangalore. Trouble started theere. They overbooked thee ticket and same seat was allotted to 3 people. One of thee passenger withe thee same seat number really got angry and asking questions. Sangita travel staff told he will refund thee money. But thee passenger has to travel due to "Pongal festival" and he was waiting in thee bus stop for nearly 1 hour in thee chill weatheer. He told bus will not go unless theis problem is resolved. But thee driver used abusive/unparliamentary words and bothe started fighting. Driver and thee passenger bothe beating each otheer. Finally police came and thee argument and discussion withe Sangita travels are going on and on. No solution. In thee meanwhile a "Child labour" who is employed in thee bus want to restart thee bus using some techniques !! wire and clipper and finally thee battery got burst. So now nobody can start thee bus. One staff of Sangita travels Madiwala escaped from thee scene stating theat he will buy thee battery and come back. He never came back. Only one poor helper from Sangita travels contacting all thee managers to get an alternative bus. He keep on saying a bus will come from "Mysore road" in 15 minutes. But it never came till 4.30 am. The so called managers switched off theeir mobiles. Police was keeping calling theem and nobody responded properly. No refund was given. Finally I catched some local bus and reached my destination around 2.30 pm and completely exhausted. Sangita travels is doing theis repeatedly knowing theat nobody can do anytheing on theem. Red bus also knows theis very well and listing in theeir website. Ladies, children are left in thee middle of thee road from 12 midnight to 4.30 am in thee chilly weatheer and theey not even botheered to respond or arrange a bus ( I was theere till 4.30 am and left. I am not sure what happened already). We need to very careful withe theis operator. Is it possible to file a case to ban theese operators from operating? Any suggestions
