I had purchased a mobile handset from sony ericsson, the model no is J20i the bill dated 14/06/2010 the IMEI no is [protected].

the problem begins when I got a problem in handset, the display of the handset was blank and keypad of the handset was not working,
1- I visited to service center of Sony Ericsson located at Borivali West, the name of service center is S. G. infotech and give the handset for repairing on 8th of October 2010. They promised to give me the handset after 10 days but I got my handset after a lot of followups on 2nd Nov 2010.

2- After coming down to home I got that the slider of handset was not working properly. Again I visited to the same service center and they said to me (what they do with my handset I don't know) that the handset is working properly now,

3- But the slider is not working properly once again. The slider of my handset is not sliding, I have attached the photo of my handset along with this complain.

please suggest what I should to do?

    With my very disappointing experience with SONY, India, I am writing this mail to complain and to challenge your brand excellence.

    I purchased SONY VPCEA23EN laptop worth Rs 42130/- in July’10. Within one month of this brand new laptop purchase, my hard disk got crashed and I lost all the important data.

    As per advice from SONY CUSTOMER CARE REPRESENTATIVE, I handed it over to SONY CENTER (Rainbow Services), Surat, Gujarat on 17th September 2010 for investigation of the problem I faced in hard disk. SONY CENTER handed me back my laptop but surprisingly, the whole hard disk was changed..! This means, I will not be able to recovery my lost data at all.

    Upon asking the reason for this, I was told by CCR that SONY is facing the problems in the laptops in which, SAMSUNG HARD DISKS have been installed and it has been replaced now.

    Disappointingly, I relinquish my disputes just on SONY name and I started my work again on the same laptop with replaced hard disk. Now, again yesterday, on 26.10.2010, my hard disk got crashed…!!! And this has been confirmed by SONY CCR…! Again, I have lost all the necessary data. This is not accepted from SONY at all.

    Now, here by I am seeking answers from SONY, India.

    Within 3 months of purchasing brand new and costly laptop from SONY, two times the hard disks have been crashed and I have lost all the important data meanwhile.
    Due to technical faults in SONY products, why should customer suffer the problem even though paying the full price?
    Having spent considerable amount and looking at the importance of my work, I can not afford to spare myself without laptops during the time I hand it over for corrections to SONY CENTER frequently.
    This kind of problems I am facing within 3 months for the 2 times and now we can not trust on SONY’s name that, this will not happen again.
    If particular supply of the SONY has the problem, then SONY should discontinue or recall such kind of products proactively without wasting customer’s important time, money, patience and trust.

    Other then above mentioned problems in me and my friend’s case, my another friend also got the problem in SONY VAIO LAPTOP : MODEL NO. VPCEB24EN (Invoice attached).

    In this particular problem, VAIO LAPTOP of my friend was awarded with faulty CD/DVD drive for which he gave back to the SONY CENTER that particular faulty laptop and again got it back after correction.

    Having fed up with such repetitive problems occurring frequently, now I can not continue with using your product as my important data are always at risk using SONY laptop. Most importantly, I can not trust this product of your now.

    Seriously speaking about SONY Products now, above mentioned three cases have made me to believe very firmly that I SHOULD NOT RECOMMAND “SONY” brand to any one.

    Please proceed to refund me back the amount I spend to purchase this horrible laptop. Hope, you will take this matter very seriously as it is directly affecting to your brand name and it will surely damage your brand name with such kind of experience.

    Above mentioned three cases, if you have taken under your consideration, you will surely see the lapses in the SONY’s product quality offerings to the customers.

    So, please without showing me other solutions or instead of apologizing for the same, REFUND ME BACK THE AMOUNT I SPENT failing to which will make me to take further actions.

    i m vipul sirotia of bhilai, i purchased vaio vpceb14en and within 8 month two times my hard disk is replaced now who will give me the guarantee that this will not continue when i go out of warantee!!!
    That is correct. This is the worst Laptop I never seen. Only look is not the matter. Reliability should be there. I am also facing problem with Hard Disk. SONY, how you people will sell this type of low quality Laptops to the customer with full advertisement and so much propaganda into the market. Don't you feel guilty?
    m facing the same problem.
    i got my hdd crashed twice.

      Sub : Inferior product and service from the so called superior brand ‘Sony’-Reg

      I think I am one of the many frustrated customers of Sony. In fact I feel very embarrassed to say that I am a customer of Sony. The name ‘Sony’ is very much limited only to the visually appealing advertisements and brochures but not to the product quality and service. The so called brand image of this company can nowhere be seen in its quality and service. The product “Xperia” only left me a very bad ‘experience’ with the product quality and service.

      Just after three months from the purchase of this Xperia-X10, it began to develop serious problems. Even after sending it to the service centre, it developed the same problems again. In fact it took over Twenty days to repair this product by that service centre personnel. I don’t know how well the service centre personnel are trained but the workmanship is clearly visible in repairing this product. Since it again malfunctioned, I had to take it to the service centre. Now the personnel there say to me that he would return my mobile this-weak, next-weak, etc. I don’t know when it will get repaired.

      Therefore I request you to kindly, either Refund my money OR replace my mobile with a new mobile along with complete warranty. I am hereby attaching the details of my mobile for your reference.

        i bought a sony ericsson w20 in the month of september . Within ONE MONTH the navigation button and the option button stopped working .shortly after the screen became blank and phone was unresponsive . i gave it to my dealer bhajanlal commercial (p) ltd. who forwarded my phone to the company on 15th october . I'm getting no response from the sony ericsson side and promised now to repair the defective piece . if i buy a product its for me to use and not be continuously sending it for repair . i want a replacement of my defective piece. the IMEI no. is [protected] .

        sonyericsson — defective product

        I had purchaged Sonyericsson mobile device G502 on 11th February, 2009.
        Ifound in couple of weeks a defect that is the restarting on its own. I contact the company through email explaining the problem. I received a reply stating to contact service centre. I visited the service centre. But the technitians at centre just upgrade the software as usual, which is not concerned with the problem. Later on they replaced the bettery on my request. My concern is may the said problem is relevent with the battery. However later in few weeks I found the same problem. Again I contact the service centre. Now their response is not satisafactory. They want to convince it was all my mistake rather than admitting the defect of the mobile. While I insist for the replacement of device. They said they will change mother-board only. After paying a sum of Rs.7900/- for the product, why should I accept these type of partly replacements. If such replacements are there, it is nothing short of assemble PC. So. I request your honour to redress the problem, for which I shall be thankful.

          we have placed an order under DUSSERA FESTIVAL OFFER for KDL HX800-46" LED TV with an offer announced by you (speaker bar with woofers, 3D frames=2, DVD'S 9no, 3D BLUE RAY DVD) the cost of Rs.1,40,000/- promised the above offer and delivery will be in 10days. I paid as advance Rs.70,000/- to SONY CENTER, SUN TRADING & MARKETING SERVICES, VIJAYAWADA copy of receipt is enclosed for your information.

          After 10 days we remained the dealer for consignment and they postphoned for another 10days. on 29th oct we demanded our consignment, they said that the TV is ready but handover the product with out speaker bar and woofer OR ready to refund the advance. so i request you justfy and get the TV with offer items as for agreement with dealer.

            Sir, i hav given my sony erricson u100i "yari" handset @ sony erricson service center on 1st of september 2010 against a job sheet,with an assurance of repairing it in 10 days,but i didnt get my phone in my hands uptill now,......it was in warranty period when i handover my ph to them along with n xerox of my orignal phone bill....but after every ten days they are giving me fake assurance and extending the time limit.....
            Even my ph's warranty is lapsed on 25 october2010,...n i didnt used my phone since 5 august.....i spent more than half of my pocket money in travelling it to their center.......
            & d biggest shock for me is dat when i heard few days back from d dealers dat d handset u 100i is not available in the market now..........sir plz help me.......take any strict action regarding dis as soon as possible...........

              I have purchased a sony ericsson mobile "w100i" spiro on 15th october 2010.
              from the day of purchasing of this mobile i am facing problems in my mobile it starts getting hanged and getting restarted , i went to the service center as per them they submited my mobile on services center on 23/10/2010 ( Neeru Enterprises ) and gave me challan copy Number :- Se[protected] and when i got my mobile after 24 hour the problem was the same and when i went again to service center for same they confirmed that there is a problem in motherboard and i need to submit my mobile phone for around 15 day or more , i am not having any alternate mobile , i am working with private secter not having time to visit daily service center and also cant live without handset for 15 days so i need fresh replacement or please provide refund or replacement...i am very disturbed i am feeling i have been cheated by the company kindly provide me a resolution as soon as possible

              Sony Ericsson — Being cheated on replacement of Mobile part

              Bought SONY ERICSSON mobile, G 700 and there was some problem in the earphone due to which the voice of other person on the phone was very feeble and inaudible. As it was just 2 months that I bought the phone I went to the Service Centre and was made me wait for an hour. Tey said the earphone output was low and it has been plreaced now. I was asked to sing the recipet which said "I am satisfied with the service".
              I checked the phone and no improvement at all. So I refused to sign and on that I was told that they would put a detaile remark and replace it with another one and create a new complaint. So I signed and as soon as I did that I was told to come afer 10days. Today being the 10 th day, I was told that I should call them after a week. This is theHyderabad Banjara Hills Service Centre. Very disappointed with all this and and have no clue whom to further contact...
              even i am facing the same problem with this phone i want a replacement
              i have the same phone and it is acting the same way. New problem is that i cant read or send text messages. please take an adequate action.

              I have bought a new sony ericisson fone w100i.I have some problem with the battery backup.Even though i charge the battery for 5 hours, its shows 100% charged.But after half an hour it shows 20%.Iwent to the service center and they told me that its a soft ware problem.Also the fone automatically switches off.I checked with my colleages and they told me that in sony ericisson you will face alll these problems.kindly do the need full

              I am one of the Consumer of Sony Ericsson. I am regretting to chosen sony Ericsson.Recently I purchased Sony Ericsson SPIRO W100 I Mobile through Univercell which is in Narayanaguda vide invoice No:P.H.NO/3489, Dated[protected] and NO:[protected], since then problems started in mobile one by one like a) restarting phone itself while using camera b). lack of battery backup c).hanging problem while watching video to reactive phone should be remove and put battery, d).rarely showing insert sim.c. while to write msgs showing out of memory Due to these problems I interacted nearest service centre sreetel(ph No;[protected], [protected]) witch is in Chikkadpally They checked and declared that software problem and they upgraded software two times with in 20 days but the problems are not yet solved.. 3rd time I interacted same center regarding these problems they were saying same software problem and it's not been completed one month also so i requested them replacement but they denied my query they are not taking care about my problems.simply they were saying contact sonyericsson customer care. i put a mail to sony Ericsson on 25th nov but i did't get reply from sony Ericsson. i am humbly requesting to sonyEricsson company please let me get replacement of my mobile

              its not a motherboard problem, actually the OS of the Spiro is full of bugs i have updated my phone yesterday
              and surprisingly many of the bugs are fixed in the latest update released by Sony. few are
              1)no more useless reboots(like u face using camera or messaging)
              2) faster and stable
              3)camera work smother to some extent
              4)automatic keypad locking while using radio & Walkman
              5)doesn't hang while multitasking

              all i want to say it has become worth using after that to some extent
              This is to shed light on my grievance with sony ericsson. I recently bought a new Spiro on November 22nd 2010, so the mobile is just 16days old. The moment i switched on my mobile at my home I was shocked to see that it took nearly 5 solid minutes to start up, as it went onto the main menu it started to hang miserably. Above all to make the matters worse when i attempted to send/receive messages it popped out an error "OUT OF MEMORY". I went to the service center and they said that its just a software update that they need to do to resolve the issue (Work order number : SE3108GR30634). They claimed that they have updated the software but in vain the same error "OUT OF MEMORY" popped out. This time I lost my patience and went back to the same service center (ACCEL FRONTLINE - NUNGAMBAKKAM- CHENNAI). They again tried to fight a losing game i.e. "Software Update" but apparently the same error came out again. I am very much disgusted now and I humbly request "Sony Ericcson" to provide a replace or refund for my mobile as soon as possible.

              I had purchased a SONY ERICSSON W100i handset vide invoice no: WA/1011/CA-4109, dt.[protected]., at THIRUMALA MUSIC CENTRE (P) LTD., WARANGAL, A.P., It took very short time to know that I am in troubles because my handset started showing so many problems and I met the nearest authourised service centre i.e., ANU MOBILE GALLERY. They changed the software for my mobile vide job card no. 2169, dt.08th NOV 2010. The problem persisted still eventhough the software was changed. After some days, I was again forced to run after the authorised service centre mentioned above to overcome the persisting problem. They advised me to handover my handset with them soasto get it replaced with the new PCB as such the problem lies in the motherboard. At the time of the purchase of my handset, its IMEI no. was s/w WUJ00RMWSX[protected]. Later, the IMEI no. was changed as [protected] soonafter the change of PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD {MOTHER BOARD} to my handsed. Inspite of all these of my efforts, I could not use my handsed without any problem. I am totally vexed with the services of your esteemed company and I felt that I am totally cheated by you. Now, I demand you to either to refund the sum incurred by me for the purpose or to replace my handset with a new one with a good condition at the earliest.

              I too am facing the exact same issues with the SE Spiro. The phone hangs, shows "out of memory" while sending messages, restarts. Something has to be done about it since everyone is facing the same issues.
              Yes I totally agree this mobile w100i is the worst ever model, and Sony Ericsson service centres are the third class service providers they are cheaters.

              I also have brought one mobile and been to service center twice because of the same problems still it is the same.

              Some one please sue this company

              Even I am facing the similar issues, once it went to extreme end, key pad was not at all working since some key matrix may be in flash stored was corrupted, I have given to RT nagar, Bangalore, service center and also I mentioned other hanging problems too, but only they corrected kaypad issue only by programing proper key matrix, other problem still exists, for that they have taken 15 days.

              Now also I have listed down too many issues.

              Please let me know If sony ericsson has released any new updation for fixing these issue for W100i.

              I bought mobile on[protected] and it does not work after two days. started switching off . gave in the service centre . but got worse more than before . and not working again . getting switch off .
              i trusted sony...but now with full regrets...I bought Spiro Walkman W100i on 15 November 2010 at oriva tambo international airport in south Africa...just after two weeks it get restarted by itself and it hanged. I took it to service center and i paid 40 dollars to get fixed. just after a month it has done the same and the service center is failling to fix it...i think i just soaked my money in water by buying spiro. i think will never use sony again...please sony fix these problems!!!

              The same thing happened to me. Phone turned off itself whenever I use camera, can't read messages even though I've received it (it's just plain blank. White blank), can't send messages, always hang and turned off itself again, the problem with the 'your memory's full. Please delete some of your messages' also always popped up. Argh. Is this how Sony Erricson deal with their customer's problems? Tell them to go Customer's Service? Then the Customer Service told me to go back to the shop where I bought my phone? Leave all their customers to complain in here? Well I am damned.
              Next time, I'll be sure to stay away from Sony Erricson, no matter how sleek or nice xPeria looks. Forever.

              I had purchased a SONY ERICSSON W100i handset vide invoice no: WA/1011/CA-4109, dt.[protected]., at sangeeth mobils., nacharam hyd, A.P., It took very short time to know that I am in troubles because my handset started showing so many problems and I met the nearest authourised service centre i.e., sony service center MOBILE GALLERY. They changed the software for my mobile vide job card no.[protected] The problem persisted still eventhough the software was changed. After some days, I was again forced to run after the authorised service centre mentioned above to overcome the persisting problem. They advised me to handover my handset with them soasto get it replaced with the new PCB as such the problem lies in the motherboard. At the time of the purchase of my handset, its IMEI no. was s/w. Later, the IMEI no. was changed soonafter the change of PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD {MOTHER BOARD} to my handsed. Inspite of all these of my efforts, I could not use my handsed without any problem. I am totally vexed with the services of your esteemed company and I felt that I am totally cheated by you. Now, I demand you to either to refund the sum incurred by me for the purpose or to replace my handset with a new one with a good condition at the earliest.

              w100i spiro mobile — not in working condition

              This is John bought the sony errisson mobile phone on november 13 1210 . From the beginging when I bought it has problems and I have taken it to the service center in cuhinggum road Acestel ! and their serviced it almost six times and they could not solve the problem of the mobile . I am in the warranty period.

                We have purchased this T.V @85,000/- & since first day we are complaining for Picher quality & above dealer is making fool by miss guiding us.
                last 3- days back T.V has stopped working & dealer is not registering the complaint also. On my follow -up with dealer he has miss behaved with us.
                un able to understand on what bases company like Sony appoint their dealers, i had very bad experience with M/s DAYAL INFOTAINMENT SHOP NO:-37 LGF SHIPRA MALL & due to ill manerd dealer Sony has lost loyal customer.
                i desperately want to bring bad conducts of M/s DAYAL INFOTAINMENT to the company but un-able to contact the concern person.
                i spoke to many manager level people in Sony but not satisfied with responce.

                  I have already mentioned my problems with these two sets in several mails. Till date only got reply ..."we are sorry..." and then some advertisements.

                  1. W910i: Latest status is it is still with Memory Marketing, Aurangabad (Authorised Sony Ericsson service centre at Aurangabad/ Maharashtra). I was told yesterday that it is OK and today also I was asked to collect. But while delivery it was checked and found nothing done. This time the complaint was "microphone not functioning - my voice cant reach other side". I am told again to collect it tomorrow.

                  2. W595: It was repaired through Chennai Service Centre (I was told, no papers given). Now it is again down within 20 days and I am told that it has to be sent again to Chennai.

                  I am disturbed for the following reasons:

                  1. The Service Centre is reluctant to issue proper documents against handsets received.
                  2. The service centre does not issue proper money receipt, only rubber stamped paper is given without taxes and any commercial details. This I have mentioned in my earlier mails also.
                  3. Both the hansets have been charged (Rs 1050, Rs 900 resply) but not functioning.
                  4. Inconvinience caused is tremendous. I am a marketing person.
                  5. No clear answer is provided by the Service Centre.
                  6. Attached last time's Job Card Scanned copy. This time's I will again send tomorrow for W910i. Still the service centre have not given Job Card for W595.
                  I want the sets in OK condition and after two months of harassment I want to go all out and see to it that I get my grievances redressed in proper way.

                  Please note I request you to pay proper attention and a exact reply as the phones costed about Rs 25,000/- and I cannot just ignore it.

                      Sir,

                      I have purchased one Sony handycam NO. SONYDCR-DVD808E from Mahaveer Distributor K.T street Mysore-570001, The distributor confirmed that one of their representative will visit our premises and will give DEMO for the use of handycam. I am sorry to say despite my telephone reminder no body has turned up till date.

                      It is really surpirising to see that if a company like yours appointing such type of distrbutors, then you are spoiling your brand image by not providing after sale service and making false promises with customers. Its been a month i am unable to Burn the DVD or copy them to my computer there is Zero tech support from your side, If nothing has been heard from you within a day or two, I will be forced to take some serious action or going to the court for making false promises at the time of sales and not fulfilling after that.

                        i purchased the mentioned Zylo W 20 mobile set (IMEI No[protected] on 14 Aug 2010 and within a span of two months the mobile has started giving following problems :
                        - display problem (with slide and otherwise)
                        - keypad not functional with slide
                        - improper power on /off

                        yesterday when service centre at Amritsar (phone[protected] was contacted, the software was updated and call was logged with call no SE31ORTA12143. However, it was told that the FPC is defective and needs to be replaced. The FPC was not in stock and will require a minimum of 15 days for its availability.

                        in this context the following is my complaint :
                        - if such a good brand of mobiles is providing such inferior quality products that they get unserviceable within two months o[censored]sage them what is the point of choosing Sony ericsson. Further, it also raises doubts on the kind of quality testing the company is undertaking.
                        - in todays world where anything is just a call away what is taking the company / service centre an unacceptable long period of 15 days for just despatch of a spare part. It needs to be noted that even single of expiry in the warranty period results in the customer bearing the entire cost of repair and here the company takes 15 days for repair without any extension on the warranty period.
                        - this kind of after sales service of mobiles is more of harassment than convenience and needs to be looked into seriously.

                        I bought my mobile 1 and half months ago and within this short time span, display is not working in slide open mode and the upper navigation key is not working even when slide is in closed mode.
                        I agree your statement. What is the use of going for such branded costly mobiles. For this we can go for unbranded mobiles with very low cost and lot more facilities.

                          I bought this sony Vaio E series VPCEB36FG laptop last sunday and it started acting up already.

                          Its display looks slightly shifted and black bars are there on all sides, i called the VAIO customer service number 180010*******

                          They kept trying identify the problem, I made me reinstall the graphic drivers but intel graphic drivers failled to install..

                          Finally after talking to 3 brave guys the problem is identified, they say that the graphic card has been malfunctioned and need to be replaced blah blahh..

                          Who on this earth wud like to get his 7 days NEW laptop screwed, y shouldn't i get a new one when i paid Rs.52,000 for dis amazing peace made of scrap inside..

                          Well... I am working in Indian Oil Corporation and DELL was giving 8% discount to us as they have huge sales to IOC, i cancled that finallized order only to buy dis SONY VAIO as a status symbol and the brand name for so called performance..
                          We bought 2 laptops (same model) and i was advertising among my friends and after me 5 more decided to go for vaio... WTF , for this SONY VAIO ...


                          I hope to get better responce from the sony personnels, they bloody dont give any numbers to contact them except dat 1800*********..

                          Do these customer care personnels deserve to be talked about replacement, they will be like full mouth open sith sorryy.... :P

                          Even i bought the same model and had the first problem in just 2 days. First i noticed a faint sound coming from somewhere beneath the key board(right hand side). Then when i wanted to make the recovery discs the vaio software simply stopped working giving an error "PROGRAM WRONGLY INSTALLED". Then i took it to the service center and surprisingly there was no expert present there. There were assistants though who knew nothing about computers. So unwillingly i had to leave the laptop there for the identification of the problem. In the evening i got a call from the center and was told that software is allright but there can be some problem with the optical drive, and he would check it and if any problem with it is noticed then it would take 7 to 8 days for repair. I'm very dissatisfied with the product. I hope no problems occur in the future.

                            We purchased one Sony make 3D TV model no KDL40NX710 of S. No 2346802 from M/s Liberty Agencies, Udaipur (Rajsthan) (Rs 1,45,000/- by Invoice no 2395 ) through M/s Tanishq Electronics, Udaipur on dated 24/10/2010. On delivery we were informed by M/s Tanishq that this set will be installed by our technical man on dated 25/10/2010.

                            Till time we are waiting for installation of TV. We approached dealer but the behavior of M/s Tanishq Electronics and M/s Liberty Agency, Udaipur (Raj) is not appreciable. We were knowing brand name of SONY and hence purchased this TV but it is sad to say that we feel very disturb after purchasing such a costly TV as dealer and distributor’s response after selling product is totally negative. We are not in receipt of warranty card too. Is it a good indication about the service we would receive?
                            We have sent onr engineer to dealer office Udaipur on date 26/10/2010 and on date 27/10/2010 but Dealer started quarrel with my engineer Mr Jeewan Singh and Mr Dalesh Shrimali. I can not write language spoken by dealer here.
                            I got financial loss after purchasing TV in making of call and sending person to Udaipur of Rs 17000/-.
                            I feel mantaly disturbed that affecting my personal life too.

                              My name is Kuldeep Singh , this in regarding the Sony Camera I bought from the sony showroom in
                              Sector 9 chandigarh , modle no DSC-TX1 / L 32 , for rs:- 14413.46 /- , invoice no 815918 the day I went
                              to see the camera I asked for 12.1 m.pixel camera , they showed me 12.1. mega pixel but they
                              delivered me 10.1 m.pixel .
                              As the shape of the camera is the same I didn’t bothered to see it again after 10 days when I opened the
                              same it was 10.1 m.pixel , I complained to the sony show room , they apolized for the same and felt
                              sorry for the same and ask me that we will change the camera , 5 to 6 times I called them us and also
                              visited there show room ,they didn’t changed and were ready with some or the other excuses .

                              After such a long time they did changed my Camera to 12.1 m.pixel but the difference money from my
                              last Camera , they reduce it to 2000 /- and said that the camera price have gone down .

                              As I was regularly chasing them to exchange the camera , because due to of there excuses it got
                              delayed and the difference money they took it from me , which is not fair , they should bare it ,as
                              it was not my fault , there employee have delivered me the wrong camera , why should I bare for the
                              same .
                              kindly look in the matter , others wise I have to move to the court and the newspaper people for the
                              same .

                                I need to register a complaint against Vivek' located in Vanasuma Arcade , #15/A, P&T colony, R.T Nagar . Bangalore 560032 and Sony

                                I Prajwal Shetty, purchased not one but two LCD Bravia' for my parents on[protected]. Both installations have not been done. When we call up Viveks they tell us the Sony guys are on their way and then they did not come at all. This happened today as well. Prior to purchase they told us 24hr installation. Now its a different story. I have arrived from US and find this disgusting and sad. Service quality is pathetic in this country. We spend a lakh rupees to buy these TVs and they do not even have the courtesy to be honest.

                                When we ask for the direct number to Sony - the Viveks personnel do not provide that also.

                                I plan to break the TV on the Vivek' showroom guys head if he is doest have it done by tomorrow noon.
                                I have purchased a sony bravia 22'' TV from Big Bazar at BSK iii stage, they had promised me installation will be done within 48 Hrs. Purchased on 4th NOV . call from sony said they will install by 8th Nov but not done so far.Festival offer 4gb USB is also not supplied so far. they need to improve to survive in the highly competitive consumer market. Hope they will do installation immediately.

It has been a week but they stil didn't contact us. Whenever i tried to Contact Vivek knowing my number ther are not even taking my calls. Festival offer 4gb USB is also not supplied so far. They need to improve to survive in the highly competitive consumer market. Hope they will do installation immediately!!!

                                  I purchased LCD Sony Bravia 32" from Sahu Agency, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow through Loan finance from your organisation (Loan A/c No. 4560CD00016634. I signed ECS mandate for the same. In the month of Sep 2010 Ist ECS was rejected from bank and rejection charges was deducted from my bank account (OBC). I paid the amount through cheque on 22 Sep 10 vide receipt No. 108589. I was told by collection people that there is some problem this time so please pay through cash or cheque. Next time such problem will not exist. I was fully ensured that this problem will not occur next time. But in the month of Oct again ECS was rejected and rejection charges was levied on my account. Again I am being contacted to pay through cash or cheque. on (mobile No. [protected]). I would like to know that where the fault exist, whether it is in my bank or at your end. I will appreciate Mr Vikas Gupta Customer Care Executive who advise me to pay through PDC cheque. When I asked that why my ECS is being rejected give the reason in writting. He told me that "Kya Karen ge uska ? Kya mele ga us se? Kay aap use gale me tange ge? In this way your customer care executive talks with the customer. In future I have to think about loan from your organisation. If you want to see my credential at cibil site. I have taken 6-7 loans so far but no defaut is shown there I would like to close my loan by paying full and final, if you return the file charges charged against this loan and also ECS rejection charged deducted by bank. I may be informed in writting that why my ECS is being rejected. Hope u under stand my problem and will reply soon.

                                    I have given complaint on 07/10/10 ,my complaint no is 6076735.
                                    We have purchased sony Bravia in March 2010 and it is showing Black Vertical line in the centre and without pressing remote button it automatically get switched on and off.

                                    We don’t want to repair this new Sony TV. We want replacement of this TV with new TV.

                                    I request them to change TV as early as possible.
                                    but they are not responding not picking the phone. I called them in thier head office also but they are not taking it seriously.

                                    KIndly help me.

After two months my mobile got some ear speaker problem and quality and clarity of loud speaker was very bad.                                       They have assured me that the handset will be repaired by and delivered after 20 days. When I go the service centre after 20 days they told me that they want another 5 days. Now they they are not reachable in phone and now when I contact them over phone they are asking for another 5 days. This type of service issues are not at all acceptable from a big company like Sony ericsson. Kindly take neccessary actions to get back my mobile at the earliest after rectifying the problem and please make ensure that this type of service issues are met on proper time.

                                        I want to share my experience here just to make you people aware that yeah i too loved this product in the begining but truly speaking today i regret the day when i read good words about this product frm a mouthshut member and decided to buy this product.

                                        I just want to make others, who are planning to buy this cheap product in coming time, cautios as it’ll prove to be a bad debt for them if they do so.

                                        I bought my sonya bravia 32" lcd in Nov 2007 and its not been even three years that the LCD’s gone powerless..when we try to start it the power led stays off..i called d service centre people...they sent an engineer who examined the tv took Rs 100 as visit charge and asked to take it to the sevice centre only..after that i took it there and on the 2nd day i got to know that "a panel" in the tv has to be replaced as sony dsnt have repair policy.

                                        n d cost of the panel is Rs 10213/

                                        I coudn’t believe my ears as i bought the tv for Rs 53000 and in such a short time i’d have to pay another 10k. Not acceptable at all!

                                        When i further enquired about this on net i just start regretting the day when i’d decided to get this product for me..everyone here had similar problems and in every problem the service centre says the same thing "panel has to be replaced which costs nearly 20-30% of the price of the tv" and nother thing which is quite surprising as well that every panel’s life is just 2 or 3 years.

                                        for reference you can visit the consumer court site and type "Sony Bravia LCD high panel cost" in search tab n you’ll get to know what i’m telling here.

                                        I’m amazed to see so many complaints and even more amzed to see how sony india customer care team tried to justify there incomptencies.

                                        I hereby request people not to even think of this good for nothing product in future.

                                        I’m at the same time feeling sorry for the people who are having this product coz they are going to face a hard time soon.

                                        But yeah i’m not gonna give up so easily. If i have to pay my hard earned 10k here..i will surely get this ......... company’s sales down by 10% in my city if not in all over India.

                                        I am now bound to use every channel be it local media both print and electronic or leading news channels to make it an issue and make people aware of the disease called Sony India Team.

                                        Plz Plz Plz do not buy Sony Products!!!

                                        Sony — Pathetic Service from Sony

                                        I bought a Sony walkman player (Model no. NWZ W202 white model) on 05-Sep-09 and due to some unkown reason the player started giving me low sound output from right earpiece. This is come into consideration that the sony walkman player NWZ202 is facing problems worldwide . Earlier it was the black player but not its also the white player that i am having is facing problem. I had a problem with the player i.e. the right earpiece was giving me low audio output. I contacted the authorised service center of SONY i.e CREATIVE ELECTRONICS (Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India- Pin Code-431005, Office number:[protected]. I was assured that the player would be repaired/replaced depending on the defect within 10 days of submission.


                                        I called up the sony customer care number [protected] after handing over the player to the service center. I spoke with Mr. Ashrab Khan i guess. That representative had no courtesy at all to greet or ask what the problem was? instead he cut me in between and asked for my number and said that they will be calling us back. They dint even had the courtesy to ask what was my concern or what was my problem. The executive said that "they are going through a bad time so please call later". I mean is this the way to speak wiht anyone? I have spent my 4 years in the customer service sector and trust me the treatment that i received from sony is realy very embaracing.


                                        Finally after long wait i got a call from the Creative electronics saying that the player has been repaired. When i went to collect the player first of all it was covered with dust & the first impresion that i got from looking at it was that the player hasent even been touched nor it has been sent to the sony maintainence center. With a hope i checked the walkman player & to my amazament the player was giving me the same problem. When i spoke about this to the manager (SOHAIL AHMED) of the service center (CREATIVE ELECRONICS) he tried to make a fool out of me saying that the problem isnt there and its been reparied. He also suggested me to wear the player other way round, i mean to say to put the RIGHT EARPIECE on the left ear and put LEFT EARPIECE on the right ear.. and now my question is am i fool not to figure out that the player is indeed facing a problem? This is really disgusting & embarasing. Now again the player has been sent to the center & got an assurity that it would be sended back to the maintenece center located in PUNE, maharashtra. Moreover i had mailed my comments in the feedback section last time but i havent even recieved a call nor an email from the sony customer care department. Sony has realy let down its name & i would be looking forward to spread across the experince that i had with sony. Firstly it was with the customer care & now its witht the service center. I am annoyed with the player & am repenting on its purchase. very very disappointing SONY. If possible please clarify this doubt of mine "Whether the customer care do care for the CUSTOMERS?" I dont know whom should i contact to who can actually hear my voice. I spent 5000 rupees on that player and now the outcome that i get is nothing but a loss. If "consumer complaints or the indian government" do realy take care of the customers then i keep a hope on you.

                                        Sony — Disappointment with SONY WALKMAN

                                        DEAR SONY.

                                        I PURCHASED A SONY WALKMAN MODEL NO.NWA-W202/ FROM OPULANT MALL (EASY DAY) GT ROAD, GHAZIABAD LAST YEAR (20 DEC 10). I AM FACING SEVERAL PROBLEMS LIKE ….THE RIGHT EARPHONE HAS STOPPED WORKING SUDDENLY AND LEFT EARPHONE SOUND NOT INCREASING. ALSO THE WIRE IS LOOSE FROM INSIDE DUE TO WHICH ITS NOT GIVEN COMPLETE SETTING ON EARS TO SUPPORTS THE SAME ALSO MANY SMALL SMALL THINGS WHICH I CANNOT XPRESS ON MAIL. AFTER MANY TIMES I CONTACTED THE CUSTIMER CARE AND NEAREST SONY CENTRES BUT PATHETIC RESPONSES.INDIRECTLY THEY ARE REPRESENTING SONY GOODWILL DOWN.THEY SHOWED THEIR HELPLESSNESS AND ADVISED ME TO OPT FOR PURCHASING A NEW ONE INSTEAD OF HELPING ME OR GUIDENESS.

                                        I HAD MANY SONY PRODUCTS ON MY HOMES AND ALSO RECOMMENDED TO OTHERS IN MY RELATIVES FOR THE SONY PRODUCT EARLIER BUT TODAY NO ONE IS THEIR IN SONY WHO ACTUALLY WANNA HELP A GENUINE CUSTOMER.

                                        I CALLED THE CUSTOMER CARE DEPARTMENT SEVERAL TIMES...WHENEVER I ASKED THE NEAREST ADDRESS OR LOCATION THEY ALZ PROVIDE ME THE SONY CENTRE WHICH WAS ALREADY SHIFTED IN THE NEW LOCATION.I WENT ON OFFICE WORKING DAYS BUT NOTHING HAPPEND. SO MUCH DISAPPOINTMENT NOW FINALLY I DECIDED TO FILE A CASE AGAINST SONY CONCERNS AND IN THE CONSUMER COURT TOO. DUE TO THESE ACTIVITIES WHICH I FACED. I HARSHED BY THEM.... NOW IF THIER IS ANY CONCERN PERSON WHO CAN HELPED ME I SHOULD APPRECIATE WITH RESPECT OTHERWISE IT BETTER UNDERSTAND MY CONCERN.

                                        THE SIMPLEST XPECTATION OF MY COMPLAINT, I WANT THE REPALCEMENT OF MY PRODUCT

                                        AS AN ADMIRER OF SONY PRODUCTS AND I FEEL LIKE HANDICAPPED WITHOUT MY WALKMAN I REQUEST SONY TO SHOW YOUR CUSTOMER CARE AT YOUR BEST.
