we purchased LG GX300-dual sim mobile from univercel,thanjavur branch on 20.3.2011. UTN-2892841..TIN NO-[protected], CST NO-875295/28-09-05 in the name of Dr.R.Usha Devi. Within a few days of purchase there was noise disturbance for incoming and outgoing calls in 1 particular sim which we reported within a month at the univercel showroom,and they restored the mobile settings telling it will be alright. But the problem still continued. When i approached for the 2nd time on 13.5.2011, they said the mobile is to be sent to the service station to install some software if necessary.complaint registered on 13.5.2011 through customer care to the complaint manager. For an obvious manufacturing defect,mobile is sent to the service station for repair within 2 months of purchase. why cant the company bare the damage and replace us with a new mobile as the problem is occuring for the 2nd time due to manufacture defect and without any fault on our side.am a doctor by profession and i cant run around for this issue. i would need necessary action for the above,if not i will be approaching the consumer forum Was this information helpful? |
