Thanks for Ur letter cum reviuw sheet.I am one of the most unfortunate byer o[censored]r esteemed product i.e Zen Estilo Vxi in the month of june last year. During last one year i never get a chance to become a proud owner of my car, already which is revalued by 15% (as per the statement of maruti insurence).During last one year i had to send my car to ur authorise service centre (Mohon Motor Udyog - Kolkata) for atleast 7/ 8 times for the problems of low pickup, Engine not smooth (some times for its bumpy sounds & effect), High fuel consumptions ect. Recently additional problem with speedometer which is not working (replacement was not available with the Mohon Motor udyog- kolkata).



So they return my car without repairing or replacing the same. Now my questions are



1. Whether i purchased a second hand car with the cost of new one ?



2. If not please send a real expart mechanic from ur company to understand the real problem( not from any authorise service center)or replace the said car.



3. Why i should not go to the consumer forum ?

Sir,
I am mohanarangan your valuable customer, to day(16.07.2008) my car was checked by PL.A MD(Trichy, Tamil Nadu), he drive the car, that time 5’th and reverse gear not working properly and PDI sheet clutch box section was not tested, and reverse gear also, it clearly available in that sheet, (in front of PL .A MD), (There is no tick mark on that column)
Purchase Before 10 days, problem reported on 3'd of purchase daty.
Mr gowery shanker says(CCM) after removing the gear box we will find the problem with out removing we can’t do anything, Sir my car still now in PLA workshop, with out my knowledge he should not remove anything(WORKSHOP PEOPLES), I believe maruti peoples. Without my knowledge if they open any section, I am not responsible, if any work done it should in if front of me. They think today only solving this problem, and hand over to me, what about my car life, I never accept this type solution.

This is new car with out properly checking PDI they hand over to me, my request once the gear box will remove half of the car engine section will remove, Pls don’t make such type of work, i Believe U. Pls Kindly give me new car. This case only I accept, .this my kind request to you. Iam waiting for your replay pls make call. Thanking you

Sub- defect in braking and clutching system since its purchase.

Dear sir,
Sorry to say that braking and clutching system of the above vehicle purchased from you is found defective since the date of purchase.
For the same I complained to you so many times, but all the times and even after attending it in your workshop, no improvement in the defect being found. In my opinion there is some manufacturing defect which could not be detected by your machine.
I am sure of it as because your this model car is with my brother and uncle which are satisfactory working .
In the circumstances keeping in view the reputation of MARUTI UDYOG as well of your showroom, I suggest to please check my vehicle thoroughly through a expert mechanic and do the needful immediately.
Your early action will be highly appreciated.

ZEN ESTILO VXI — New Car under repair with in 6 Month

Dear Sir,

It was indeed a red letter day for our family when my father went in for Maruti 800 in eighties and the vehical gave zero repair service to the family . My father is now proud owner of Zen XLI the last to be sold in Chandigarh in July 2006.

Unfortunately I also decided to go for Zen Estilo VXI keeping in mind the excellent reputation it has in the family, but it prove to be one of the worst decision i could make in my life when in less then six Month the vehical came to a grinding halt on a crossing in Chandigarh. It was toed to Chittosho Motor( nearest Authorised Maruti Center Code: L102) at Mohali , Who faxed the detail to Maruti Head Quarter for advice . As per Chittosho people it is informed by the Maruti head quarter that it is no more manufacturing defects and company is not in a position to repair it free of cost even though it has occur within six Month . Then i approach M/s National Insurance for the needfull to be done under cash less insurance cover sponsored by Maruti . But i am informed that it being a manufacturing defect they will not be getting it repair under cash less insurance cover rather i shall have to pay totally. Their plea is that many Zen Estilos have met the same fat and their fighting for the claims so it will not be possible to single out your case and make the payment of the claim .
I really Curse my stars when i decided to got this vehical since M/s Chittosho Motor has estimated the repair to the tone of Rs. 40000/- to 50000/-. For a middle class family who has purchased this vehical by raising a loan from bank cannot afford to pay in addition to the Monthly installment of the loan.
Dear sir, I feel Maruti brought automobile revolution in the Country and now it appear to be on way out since it is fitting borrowed components which are spoiling the reputation thus making the people afraid of Maruti Brand . Since as already mentioned Insurance people are also not ready to entertained claim of your vehicals and openly announces the poor quality of Maruti Brand .
Sir, I should be given justice and M/s Chittosho Motor may be advised to repair my vehical since it is well with in six Month otherwise i shall be forced to take other measure to awaken the people about the poor quality of your products.Details of my car are as under
