I'd booked a cab from Lodi-The Garden Restaurant on 02 May, 2014, to Greater Kailash-2 at 9:39 pm under the booking if A05024386. My Chauffeur's number was [protected] and the car number was 7181. The booking was made for 10:20 pm. Having received the details in a text message about the driver and the car number, I did not make any call until 10:20 to the driver (assuming he must be stuck in a jam or something). Upon calling him, the driver seemed to be intoxicated and claimed he got no booking from Easy Cabs and said, "Pagal ho gaye hai (Easy Cabs)" (They have lost it). I called the driver twice from different numbers and he reiterated the same.
Without panicking, I realized that there must have been some confusion and that another booking needs to be made. I booked another cab for the same destination, from the same address at 10:29 pm. This time the said chauffeur (number-[protected], car number 6975) did not answer my call. The cab was suppose to arrive at 11pm and did not make it till 11:15pm, after which I was forced to take an auto. The cab driver did not return my call.
I do not know if this complaint will be taken seriously but given my situation with Easy Cabs, I shall never be using their services again and nor will allow any member of my family or friend to contact this nincompoop farce organization for renting a car or using their cab services even if they happen to be the last cab provider in this country.
