I have availed Corona Rakshak policy plan for my parents in July 2020 looking at the difficult situations due to COVID 19 outbreak.
In September 2020, My father has been found Corona positive and his age is 64. So on the account of having heavy fever initially, high viral load and tremendous leg pain, we haven't take a chance and take the advice from doctor telephonically and been admitted in two days from COVID 19 positive report.
By God's grace, his health has been responded well to the medication provided in the hospital and got recovered soon.
Now when after that we put a claim for the Hospitalization, company had started for asking different details at different time. We have provided it all and now they are saying to clarify why Hospitalization is required.
Owing to that, how can one ascertain at the time when he found positive that whether this virus would cause more harm or not. If company had doubts about misuse of policy than they would not have to sell it from initial levels.
IRDA should look into this matter and in the interest of genuine people they should have to laid hefty penalty on the company so that they won't mis sell any product hence forth. Was this information helpful? |
