Recently I purchased an iPhone and got the insurance through Gizmo. The guy at the insurance desk told me that the insurance covers 100% physical damage and damage due to water twice a year. Precisely a week later, my phone fell and the glass cracked. The insurance was rejected saying that this was not accidental. I was appalled. What does accidental mean, no idea, their T&C do not say anything what accidental means. It cost me a fortune to fix my iPhone. Why the hell did I take the insurance again?
Who in sane mind will like to throw their phone down. Whether its iPhone or HTC or anything. It would always be accidental.
I am mentally and emotionally down that I accepted to insure my phone through a company which does not care for customer. Actually I guess they do this to make money and reject our claims. Pathetic. Was this information helpful? |
