GoAir — Denied to board the flight as well as being denied complete refund | |
Date of travel: 26th June 2021, BLR to Pune Date of booking: 24th June, 2021 I was denied to board on 26th June, due to missing RTPCR test. I understand the changes were announced by MH govt maybe just 2 days ago. However, passengers cannot keep checking news as everyday the news is different. We only rely by what the airlines tell us. I booked the ticket and checked state guidelines for Maharashtra and did not find any RTPCR being mandatory. I was still wary and kept checking every sms that Goair was sending, in case it mentioned the test was necessary. The same day, on 24th, I also did a web checkin, and was not warned about carrying a negative report on me. There were other passengers too, that were not carrying such a test report. We have been demanding atleast a change of flight, or complete refund, or at the least some refund in our goair account, that can be used to next flight booking, but we have been denied any kind of refund. Now, after posting a tweet about this whole event, they get back to me, saying that I will have to raise a refund request for no show since I did not board the flight! Please help me to get a complete refund for the whole ticket amount, including an excess of 100 for the seat charge. Was this information helpful? | |
