I and one more intern along with me got selected for summer internship (work from home) through internshala by an infrastructure company - gr infraprojects limited currently situated in udaipur
We both cleared the entire selection criteria recieved an official job letter by the company with terms and conditions saying :
•the contract cannot be cancelled by either of the parties before prior notice of 30 days or can be done in case o[censored]nacceptable disobedience
•details about our stipend and the other relevant details
We both accepted our offer letter on 31st may and worked day and night in favour of the company as asked by our employer to increase our experience in the corporate world. i as a content writer and she being the graphic designer we both never did any delay in our work and proved our efficiency
Suddenly, we recieved a message from our reporting employer that he has resigned due to some issues in the company
We sympathised and gave him a day or two to settle down and asked him whom are we now supposed to work with he never gave a relevamt reply
We didn't recieve any information from the company
After asking about the same, the hr replied by saying please consider your contract being cancelled
I have no idea how can i consider a contract being cancelled all by myself with no prior notice from the company while the terms and conditions clearly stated the same!
Such an unprofessional behaviour from a reputed company scares the crap out of aspiring students like us who just had a first experience and got their efficiency wasted working for a firm who denied to pay the stipend and hand over the certificate after taking all the work from us!
