I have not claimed a single paise since the date of purchase. On 20.12.2023, I approached the KunHydundai Service Centre for replacement of the Tail Lamp and scratches on the Body etc. under Insurance coverage. They told that (A) If you claim Rs.1, 430/- or any amount I have to pay initially to the HDFC Ergo Insurance Rs.1, 000/- as claiming fee. This is meant for any amount of claim. (B) Also you will loose No claim bonus around Rs.2, 000/-. (C) Scratches on the Body paint will not cover. The Then I replied that what for the Own Damage Premium remitted so far by me and for what purpose it is meant. In other words, what are all the eligible damages cover for this premium. So for claiming the net amount of Rs.430/-. I have to approach the insurance company? In such cases, I have to opine that these Insurance Companies and the Government are looting / cheating the public. The Insurance Companies should be transparent and also to advertise the features of the Insurance Coverage through various modes to the Public on frequent intervals. The Government is also liable to the Citizens. Awaiting reply from all the recipients, those are concerned / involved within the stipulated time. Love All and Serve All. Regards. T.S.V. Subbarao.
