I have to update the purchase date on my complaint as mistakenly typed the Year 2021 instead of 2020. Below is my updated complaint.
I bought Hitachi 1.5 ton 3100S Inverter - R410A- RSM317HCEAW AC on 4th Feb 2020 and started using the it from mid of the Month May 2020. On 3rd of July, my AC stopped working. So, I made a complaint to Hitachi Service Center. Their technician came next day to check the AC and informed that the controller of the outer unit is not working so it needs to be changed, which they changed on 11th of July after multiple follow ups with the different person of Hitachi service Center.
Again, on 18th July AC suddenly stopped cooling and have to register a complain but don't know how it started working again on next day.
August 6th, 2020 AC stopped cooling again and this time the technician who visited last time to change the controller of outer unit came in, checked, and informed that again the controller is faulty and needs to be replaced. Within a month 2 controller stopped working! This was very frustrated thing happened at that moment. As my AC was under warranty they have replaced the outdoor unit controller (PCB).
Somehow, AC managed to work for rest of the month.
Now, on 21st of August 2021, AC stopped working suddenly and blinking the Green light 12 times on Indoor Unit. I registered the complaint to Hitachi and on Monday technician came to check the AC, after checking the AC Technician told me that the there is a problem in Outdoor unit Controller and it needs to be replace again which will cost me around 12K and took Rs 500 from me as a visiting charge and closed my ticket.
Now, there is a question in my mind that last year I have replaced the controller twice without knowing the root cause behind the PCB vitiation. Again, in this season, problem is different but part that needs to be replace is same. How, I can be sure that, if I replaced the PCB by spending 12K, will not vitiated again.
I am very much frustrated with this AC from the day I am using it, I am in trouble. I request you to kindly replace the complete AC UNIT ASAP.
Because I don’t want to spend money in this problematic, worthless AC.
