Homecentre — refund not received in spite of multiple follow ups

We purchased a sofa cum bed (Faith Sofa Bed) from Gurgaon store of Homecentre on 22nd Sep which was supposed to be delivered on 3rd Oct. However, we cancelled the order on 29th Sep which was duly cancelled by Homecentre through request ID 25628 stating refund would be initiated. However, they prepared a credit note of INR 20, 000 and were forcing us to take refund in the form of credit not only. We have been fighting our right since 29th Sep to get refund in our card (through which we made the payment) however each time we hear a different story from a different customer executive. We have till now spoken to Thomas, Sandra, Sai and many others in customer care. Still awaiting for a simple resolution of getting refund in our card instead of credit note. This is simply mental harassment of customers and no one is taking ownership of getting the resolution. Shame on you, Homecentre !!! Being such a big brand but no professionalism !!! I am shocked and surprised..

I am on the same boat as you. Bought at the store and cancelled the very next day before dispatch due to incompatability issue. They are pushing for a store credit but 33k is the amount which is too much for me. Did you finally receive the refund to your account ? Please let us know.
We're you successful getting the refund back to your bank account ? I am on the same boat as you. Exactly same story.
