Honda Scooters — Complaint in fuel metre

Sirs I had purchased a Honda Active I, from M/s Varun Honda, GE Road, Raipur, Chhattisgarh in June 2014. The scooter developed trouble in the Fuel Gauge from the very first day. I had immediately registered a complaint with the dealer and they claimed to get the gauge repaired. But the problem recurred and after several complaints and repairs, and three free services, the problem still persists. Every time I approach the dealer, they promise to solve the issue but nothing positive has happened so far. Warranty period of the scooter will expire soon and I fear that the company may prolong the issue till date. When I approached the dealer this time, they promised me to replace the metre- but still they haven't realised it. Since the gadget developed problem by the very first day itself, I feel this is malafied and feel that I have every right to get the metre replaced and in the event of the metre not being be replaced, I should have the right to claim replacement of the scooter and pay me compensation for the same.
