Hi,
I have a PAN card which comes under category of minor. so when I tried to update the PAN card, I have received a new one with Different PAN number,
Initially I don't know about that we should not have 2 PAN cards, When I come to know about this, I tried to submit the new PAN card to the nearest Income tax office, They are not sure about the process, I was bit worried and shocked and they asked me to send the PAN card and requisition letter through Post, I have sent the same, I sent it on 11/11/2021, but still My PAN Card which is inadvertently allocated to me is active, I have approached the office again, but they told like it will take 1 month of time.
My problem is, My new pan card is attached with AADHAR and my old one is attached with all my important accounts, I just requested them to deactivate the New PAN card and update the old one, I'm also not sure whether they are following a correct process or not.
