The balance amount of Rs. 9, 16, 641/- has settled down on various dates and final settlement done on 11.02.2014 based on the proforma invoice ex-showroom price of the vehicle. On 24.02.2021, took the delivery of vehicle from the Palakkad showroom and on the same day they handed over the documents pertains to the vehicle including tax/vehicle invoice dated 13.02.2021. On careful examination of the tax/vehicle invoice No. PKD20002698, it has seen that the price of one Maruti Vitara Brezza VXI M(VBR48V100) is Rs. 5, 75, 862/- and the assessable value of the vehicle Rs. 5, 62, 848.34/- after deduction of discount Rs. 13, 013.66/-. As such the invoice amount of the vehicle comes Rs. 8, 21, 759/- only after inclusion of SGST, CGST, CESS & Flood CESS with the assessable value and no other charges or values added with the above product value. However, the tax/vehicle invoice showing an amount of Rs. 8, 40, 758/- as ex-showroom price of the vehicle without any description for the difference of Rs. 18, 999/- from invoice price. It clearly indicates that the company charged an excess amount of Rs. 18, 999/- in their ex-showroom price and should be refunded forthwith.
