[Resolved]  Airtel Mobile Plan 950 / - — Excess billing. and activation of plans with no due notice

Dear Sir,

I refer to the above matter and to the telephone conversation of your customer service earlier this week and yesterday.

1. I would like to seek a clear explanation or a clarification why am I billed twice separately for the same service in 2 different packages or plan or services rendered by you with no knowledge of mine.

2. When my bill plan itself includes my 3G services+1000free sms+certain minutes of free calls etc...then why am I being billed for an extra 50rs for sms and an extra 1000rs for internet.

3. There was no clear answer given by the customerservice when I called in late december to check on the excess bill amount. They replied saying that I have requested for an additional internet service which is being activated from 23 November.....My question to them was when did I request for such additional service and without my knowledge and without any request placed by me how cum they have activated any service on my number.....and if so when did I request for...what's the date and time of request and what's the mode of request..i.e, is it via a telephone request through customerservice or via a mail or via face to face at the Airtel office.There was no answer from the customerservice desk and he said the system shows no record of request made by me but only shows the activation date as 23 november and he has transferred my call mentioning some department and the person whom I laised with or spoke to was Mr.Ali.

I have also asked him that in case if a new package or plan or a service with better and more privileges is being activated, doesn't that mean that the earlier service or plan or package. With the same features has to be deactivated automatically. And incase if I have requested for a new plan or package or service of extra internet then why is my earlier plan still being continued. And why am still being billed for an extra 50rs every month despite of my free 1000sms in my 950rs plan itself.

My total usage of my internet itself is hardly 1-2GB every month....despite still I would be having more un-used GB being wasted by me everymonth....I understand that it would be mere stupidity and foolishness of wasting un-used GB at one end and requesting for an extra plan or service of internet on the other hand. Which itself clearly shows that my record o[censored]sage of internet doesn't require any additional internet plans or services....and I dint request for any additional plans or services.

I am much satisfied with the current bill plan of 950rs every month...And I have also requested Mr Ali that I would not be interested in any termination or dissruption of services due to my delay in my bill payment and until such time that I am clarified with my genuine queries.He was unable to answer when my request was made and he too re-confirmed that the're are no records showing that a request has been made from my end and he said airtel would waive the extra bill upon clarifying at their end and took a telephonic complaint of 72hrs notice and mentioned that he would revert back with details asap and within 72hrs. But no one turnedup.

The issue was dragged till February and there were calls from customerservice for my bill payment. Of 5000+ and I re-questioned them the same thing and explained them the scenario...he then suggested me to mail my query inorder for them to look into the matter.

I also would like to refer the telephone conversation with Mr Mahindra at 11:30am yesterday and also the call with Ms Radha this morning at 10:30am. In order to solve the matter amicably with non disruption of any airtel services I have also made an interim payment of 3000/- yesterday.

While my conversation with Ms Radha , I have requested her to first deactivate that so called extra plan , to whi h she replied saying the service has been deactivated on february 19th itself. I dont understand why the service was activated and deactivated witbout any info to me or request of mine or knowledge of mine. She mentioned that she would revert back regarding that unnecessary Excess bill.

Kindly revert back ASAP.

Airtel — Activation of different Services without my request

Dear Sir,

I have been using AIRTEL mobile services for almost 6-7 years.Currently I am using Pre paid service & my cell no is [protected].I am now seriously thinking of switching to any other service provider due to below reason

In the past I have faced this issue couple of times where AIRTEl unneccesarily activates services like Health tips , Wallpaper downloads and other junk stuff without me requesting to any of such services.

I called your Customer Care Center and the person used to give the reason that I have asked for such request which is completely false.I have even spoken to their senior managers and conveyed my frustration.

Again now in this mont I have recieved a SMS saying that my Bollyspice subscription is renewed.This time I have not called your Customer Care Center and am surely going to take this issue to higher authorities untill you completely stop doing such malpractices.

Waiting for your reply failing which I will move to the next level.

Airtel — Activated some plans without subscription

Hi,

I had never subscribed for activation of any packages but some love poems and packages are activated and I have lost Rs.500 in a week coz of this crap. If I try to reach the CC they do not respond. Kindly take action on this at the earliest

I aslo refer my telephone conversation yesterday with Mr Mahindra at 1:30pm and a call today with Ms Radha at 10:30am. I have made an interim payment of 3000/- yesterday for amicable solving of the matter and for no disruption of my airtel services. Ms Radha also mentioned that the 1000/- internet plan was deactivated on my mobile on February 19th. Basing on which I would also like to know how cum the service has been also automatically deactivated without my request for deactivation, which clearly implies and shows that the service has been activated and deactivated on my mobile by AIRTEL without my knowledge and request.


Hence, kindly revert back ASAP.
