Manipal hospital is overcharging for my post surgery process. Post surgery process is of 15 minutes as per doctor but they want patient to pay for their full day admission process which is approx 2k and safety and infection charges which is 3.5k and MRD charges which is 1.6k apart from normal surgery cost which is 7.5k.
Except surgery cost everything is self paid. After having an insurance there is no point of getting the benefit. Hospital is simply charging all these in the name of safety and infection charges as I have seen when I was admitted during my surgery. Moreover when I spoke to billing manager Mr. Rahul GRE. He spoke very rudely and said this is what we charge and we cannot help. He simply denied. I don't think he should be a manager for this post also. We are not expecting this kind of services from such a big and reputed hospital. Also there are different charges for the same surgery. When I say I have oriental insurance then the cost of tue surgery is 48k and when I say I have Cigna ttk insurance then they say cost of the surgery is 2.4 lakhs. For the same surgery price is different. Are these hospitals running for the society or for making the money and looting the people. Anyways I'm taking the matter with ministry of health for some strict actions against the hospital. Was this information helpful? |
