I purchased panasonic airconditioner in March, 2021. There has been issue with air conditioner recently which became very çlear when I received electricity bill of Rs.13000 this month ( September, 2022). I put up complaint to panasonic. Their mechanic ( Manoj Parmar) came on 12th September, 2022 and asked everything is fine. I paid him Rs 470 as visit charge too. Within 2 days, AC was shutdown completely. Obviously, he didn't take the complaint seriously. I called him, and he asked to arrange for a 15 feet ladder to check compressor. I lodged second complaint to panasonic. Compressor is under warranty and they are not attending it on pretext of not having ladder to inspect compressor. Privately, I learnt that if I pay Rs 1500 towards labour charge, AC could be shifted and compressor could be inspected. I protested it as AC was installed by their mechanic only, and they should arrange for ladder. I wrote to their area manager Chintan Trivedi apart from writing to their service head many times. When nothing happened, I arranged for ladder on rent yesterday ( 17.09.2022) and asked them to attend the issue. Now, their mechanic says that he would come on Monday as today ( 18.09.2022) is Sunday. There is no response from area manager. I wrote them about our urgency but there is no effect. They have no sensitivity towards the need of customer. They are not customer friendly too.
I feel it is game of money. If I pay them money privately, the job would be done immediately. As I am not doing, it is being delayed due to one or other reason.
Panasonic is not providing services even when the compressor is under warranty. It is matter of malpractice by their ground staff too on which they have hardly any control.
Panasonic management must take the matter seriously.
