On 26th January 2016 I bought a Panasonic 2.1 Channel Speaker System from E-Zone at E-Mall, Kolkata. It was installed by Panasonic’s technician Mr Chanchal Das on 28th January 2016. After installation Mr Das informed that the system was defective as its USB port was not functioning. The matter was reported to both Panasonic and E-Zone with a request to replace the system as it was a manufacturing defect in a brand new product that came in a sealed pack. However, Panasonic insisted that the set cannot be replaced and asked their technician to open the set and replace some vital parts. I was forced to accept this as a solution.
The entire episode has left a very bad impression about Panasonic’s products and its ways of handling customers. Was this information helpful? |
